The Fairy Ninja

Chapter 2 - Training begins

After agreeing to joining Fairytail after Mavis's constant pleas. Akai, Laxus and the Thunder Legion all disembarked straight away for their training,  and of course, Akai did not forget her ninja gear and forehead protector before leaving.  They left so quickly that Master Makarov  didn't even have to time to introduce her to the guild.

Laxus and the Thunder Legion along with Akai had been walking for a few hours now. Laxus expected Akai to drop to her feet in the first hour, but after 4 hours, Akai was still walking as if she were on a morning stroll, she hasn't to even broken a sweat. But that wasn't the same to say about Evergreen who was literally about to pass out in any second from exhaustion.

After a few more moments, the group of four came across the perfect training grounds from them to teach Akai magic.

It was secluded in a forest, a big grass field beside a cave and a big lake with a tall waterfall.

"All right, we'll be training here for the time being" stated Laxus,

At that moment, Evergreen dropped to her knees and let out a giant sigh of relief. This sight made her colleagues chuckle, apart from Laxus.

"Thank Mavis, I thought we would have to walk forever!"stated Evergreen

Akai stared at the group of four on disbelief and said,

"so your telling me, I'm going to be trained by a woman who can't even run a few kilometers without passing out, a green haired she-male, an armored man with a inhuman tongue and a giant emotionless Blondie..."

Laxus chuckles slightly and says,

"Very observant of you kid"

Akai groans and says,

"What could you possibly teach me that I don't know?"

Laxus crossed his arms and stated sternly,

"I heard you don't use eithernano or any magic based abilities. If I heard this correctly, your... A ninja? What a stupid thing to be"

This caused Akai to slightly growl,

"Being a shinobi is not stupid! We put our lives on the line for others every day!"

Laxus scoffs and says,

"And how do you do that? If I remember correctly, you have no magical abilities. If anything your nothing but a-"

Akai cut Laxus off by yelling,

"Shut your mouth! I'm going to become one of the strongest shinobi in the entire world! I'll show you!"

Laxus smirked at Akai's statement and said,

"Well then, I guess you won't need our training then"

Laxus then turned his back to Akai and said,

"Let's get going back to the guil-"

Akai frowned and yelled

"Hey! I thought there was some sort of crazy 'magical' ability that Mavis told you to show me!"

Freed then said to Laxus,

"She has a point Laxus, you did agree with Mavis to teach Akai some form of magic"

Laxus frowns slightly to himself, before he turns around and says,

"Fine, how about this. Let's fight, If I win, we go back to the guild, If you win, we teach you magic"

Akai's eyes widen slightly, before she grins and tells,

"Alright!"

Evergreen, Freed and Bicklow's eyes widen in shock,

"Laxus! This isn't what I meant."

Akai pulls out her kunai from her kunai holder and holds it in her left hand.

Laxus pulls his coat off his shoulders and hands it to Evergreen who was standing beside him.

Laxus cracked his neck and rolled his shoulder as he said aloud,

"You can take the first hit if you want"

Akai nodded and threw her kunai at Laxus.

The kunai was pretty much invisible but Laxus tilted his head to the side, causing the kunai to narrowly miss his head by a mere inch...or so he thought.

Laxus felt a small stinging pain from his cheek and touched it, only to feel a small cut on his cheek and blood oozing out of it.

He smirks,

"I'm going to have a good time..."

Akai laid on the ground, trying to catch her breath as Laxus did the same, except he leaned up against a broken tree. Freed, Evergreen and Bickslow stared at the two in shock, along with the surrounding area which had pretty much been decimated in a 50 meter radius.

The battle was intense,

The Thunder Legion completely underestimated Akai's abilities.

"I guess we're teaching Akai Magic then... "mumbled Evergreen.

"Does she really need magic? I mean, that chakra thing she has is really going for her"stated Bickslow

"Oh well... Let's just set up camp..." ordered Freed as himself and his still conscious teammates began to build their camping grounds.
