She woke up, and decided it was time. She got out of bed and stretched. A red kwami then spoke,

"You're actually early today. What's on your mind, Marinette?"

The bluenette turned around. She had a confident smile on her face. "Good morning to you too, Tikki. And today, I'm gonna confess to Adrien."

"Really? That's great, Marinette. It's about time!"

She chuckled and hugged her kwami. "I couldn't have gotten the confidence if you weren't there to help me, Tikki"

"How so?"

"Being Ladybug has helped me grow and be more confident than I was before. And I wouldn't be Ladybug without you. So thank you"

The kwami gave her a sweet smile.

Marinette had been Ladybug and has protected Paris alongside Chat Noir for a year and a half by now. She's grown into a more confident girl than before. She's still her adorable self but she can now talk normally to Adrien and can easily stand up to Chloe. She's now probably the most popular girl in Paris after Ladybug of course, which is actually her but, you get it right?
She's even warmed up to Chat Noir and laughs at his horrible sense of humour, as she can imagine him trying pick up lines on other girls, and them being disgusted as eff. Chat Noir also started acting much more mature now, and she was so much more happier.

She dressed her daily outfit, left the bakery, and reached school quite early.

She looked at the grand clock in the hall. Class won't start in 20 minutes. Wow.

She decided to sit down in her empty classroom, and start writing her own song.

Marinette is someone who loves to sing. Fashion designing is one of her hobbies, true, but she's discovered that singing and song-writing is her number one favorite thing to do. She took out a pen, and started writing.

"Meow", she heard. She looked out to see a black cat sitting and purring on the ground. She giggled and frowned as she remembered Chat Noir. Oh if only she could tell him that the reason she doesn't want to be in a relationship with him is because of how insecure she is. She didn't want him to know who she was under the Ladybug mask. She believed he would be disappointed and would wish he never knew her. She sighed as she remembered, that even Adrien has a crush on Ladybug. She always was and still is her, but he couldn't notice, and that made her even more insecure, that everybody loved the masked side of her, not the real her. She thought about the stupid cat who liked her, who, wasn't really her.

Sorry to my unknown lover,
Sorry that I can't believe,
That anybody ever really
Starts to fall in love with me.

She began, but she stopped as the door creaked open, to reveal a blonde with soft emerald eyes and a kind smile. Adrien Agreste. The guy Marinette thought she could confess to about her crush on him, but now with her thoughts and what she's starting to write of what seems to be her original, she can't. She just can't. Maybe she will later, but right now, she just can't.

"Hey there, Marinette. It's surprising seeing you early."

She quickly crumpled and hid the paper behind her while Adrien set his bag down.

"Uh-huh. I woke up early for once."

"That's not something you get to see everyday. Congrats Marinette" He smirked at her while she laughed.

"Shut up~"

Adrien started laughing as well. After they calmed down,

"Why'd you decide to come this early? I only came early because my driver had to drop off my dad somewhere after me. I didn't have time, hehe. But you had some time so, wouldn't you want to spend it with your family?" Adrien slightly frowned, remembering that he would do anything to spend time with his dad.

Marinette noticed and put a hand on his shoulder. She gave a look of concern. "You okay?" Adrien nodded and smiled at her. She smiled back at him.

"Well to answer your question, I kinda wanted to come here early. And my mom and dad are out of Paris. They left yesterday night. They wanted their family time too. And, I needed to collect some thoughts and motivation"

"Hm. Well I hope your parents have fun. And motivation for what?"

"I'll keep that a secret" she winked at him. "But, other than that, I kind of wanted some time alone."

He gave a confused look. "This topic of why you're here so early and didn't stay at home when you could come here after a little more time is going so many ways. But now I'm just confused. You're home-alone 'cause the rest of your family going overseas, yet you say you want some alone time, and that only happens at school? The bakery should be closed so who could be making you feel not alone?"

Shoot. I forgot about Tikki.

"Uhm. People were calling me. S-so if I said I was at School, they'd stop?" She said nervously.

"Okay~" He replied, but inside he was suspicious. And he was now, fixed on finding out what made her so nervous when it came to knowing if she was truly alone at home or not.

The red kwami heard everything, and slightly giggled at Marinette's actions. She stopped after a while. She thought about everything that the bluenette said. She knew Marinette needed some time to herself in thinking, but she always had to stay with her so she couldn't have any privacy. She knew Marinette thought that she couldn't let her personal life interfere with her superhero life, but the kwami decided to not speak about it, because she knew that Marinette could find her way out of the crazy maze she was stuck in.

The school bell rang sooner than expected, and the day was going really well, Marinette would say.

But we all know,

After the bright day, comes the dark night
