the beginning

Apophis POV

This is the story of your last days, race of mankind. I am the gigantic snake of Chaos, who is the one who shall swallow the sun and destroy the world.

Carter and Sadie Kane had just destroyed most of my shadow. I was writhing in pain in the Dust, but after some time, I regained my senses. I smiled. My back-up plan had worked. I had split a piece of my shadow, and kept it in a very safe place, so that if the Kanes destroyed my shadow, I could use that small piece to come back to power. So all I had to do my was get out of the Duat and into the upper world. The only problem was that they had banished me a bit far into the Duat, and it would be difficult to get out. I slowly began working my way out.

After about a mortal hour, I heard a voice behind me, and some scuffling. I looked around, and saw two mortals standing there. Strike that, I sensed that both of them were more than mortal. Both of them wore hoods. I hissed,“Who are you?"

One of them took a nervous step backwards. I couldn't blame them. Being a giant Chaos snake tended to be a bit intimidating. However, the other one stood his ground.

“I am Kronos, the Greek Titan of time and the king of all the titans. This is my friend, Voldemort, who is the darkest wizard of this age. We are here with a request. Will you hear us out?"

I thought about it. I cod kill them quickly, but my curiosity over took me.

I growled,“Very well. What is your request?"

They smiled.

“Our request is for you. to join us. We are making an alliance of the top bad guys of around the world to defeat our enemies, and them take over the world. We want you to join this alliance. Do you accept?"

  considered it. Make an alliance of all the top bad guys? Not bad. As long as I was the one who turned out as the ruler of all the world, not second-in-command or have to share the position with anyone. I would have to betray all these dorks in the end. But for now, I would play along.

“Sure." I answered, and Kronos smiled. “Good. Now, I have sent a small army of monsters to slow the heroes down. It shall stop them and give us enough time to find at least one more bad guy for our team. Now, the next location is in an Asgardian prison. We must quickly find the wizard Loki, before our time runs out and the heroes get to us."

With that, we speedily made our way to Asgard.

Artemis Fowl POV

Greeting. My name is Artemis Fowl, the seventeen ear old saviour of the universe. First of all, you must know that there is such a thing as a fairy. The fairies live underground, to protect themselves from the human race. My bodyguard, Butler, his sister, Juliet, my mother, and I am perhaps the only people in the world who know of them.
