Raven ran her hand done her light blue wedding dress . The long body hugging dress fit her like a glove and there were hardly any creases but she was nervous and it was a good distraction from the butterflies flying around in her stomach.
She was standing at the end of the blue carpet laid in the middle of the enchanting garden where her wedding was taking place. There was a silver arch mounted right where she stood and another at the other end of the path created by the carpet, where Dillan and the priest officiating the ceremony stood. Around thirty guests were seated on both sides of the path and beautiful pink roses chosen by the bride surrounded them.
The pianist seated behind the grand piano facing the guests started playing the wedding march.
Edward Mayfield, Dillan's old and greying father ,linked his arm through hers as they walked down the aisle.
Tears pooled in her turquoise eyes as she realized that her parents would never see their daughter getting married. Edward gave her a comforting squeeze and she smiled at him gratefully. The Mayfields had taken her in when she was all alone in the world and they had graced her with their love and care. Now, their son was following their foot steps by taking her to be his wife and making her the happiest woman in the world.
All too soon they reached the second arch and Edward let go of her arm and walked to his seat. The priest,a balding middle-aged man, began the ceremony.
Raven could feel Dillan's gaze on her but she refused to look at him knowing she would start blushing if she did.
Even though she had known him from childhood ,she couldn't help the blush that crept up her neck and face whenever she looked at him.The priest cleared his throat when it was her turn to give her vows. Raven couldn't believe that she had missed the priest's sermon and Dillan's vows.As she prepared to say the vows she had painstakingly written and rehearsed, she mistakenly met his vibrant orange eyes.
Her mind went blank as she stared at his well defined jaw and his plump lips and his deep eyes and the breathtaking beauty of it all.
She tried to look away and focus on repeating her vows but she just couldn't and her hands became clammy as panic began to set in. An amused smile appeared on Dillan's as he took in her flustered appearance. In that moment,Raven decided that it didn't matter that she had forgotten her vows.
"I,Raven Day,love you,Dillan Mayfield."
That was all he needed to start grinning widely. The priest ended the ceremony saying,
"I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."Dillon cupped her cheek tenderly and brought her lips to his in a chaste kiss .
A couple of "Awwws" came from the crowd as Raven tried to hide her blush.

The wedding reception was held in the lobby of the Elder Hotel and the couple was going to spend the first two days of their honeymoon in one of its suites. The reception passed in a blur of not-so-innocent kisses, whispered words and a whole lot of blushing and champagne for Raven.
She came out of her alcohol induced haze when Dillan carried her in bridal style to their room. The wait in the elevator was torture as he drove her crazy with passionate kisses and sensual strokes and nips.
The second the elevator stopped on their floor, they ran to their hotel room and locked the door after which they had delightful sexual intercourse .
