Steven slowly stirred the milk inside of his bowl of cereal. He silently watched as the fruit loops followed the flow. Then his eyebrows scrunched as he stopped in his movement.
Maybe I should add some acid into this? Poisonous breakfast didn't sound so bad this morning.
"Oh my goodness." Steven was a bit surprised as he heard another voice. He slightly looked up and was greeted by the sight of wide eyed Nick, standing close to the kitchen entrance with one hand on his chest.
"Oh my goodness." The blond paediatrician repeated and Steven felt like a baboon in the zoo.
"Oh my-"
"Nick, you don't wanna know what will happen if you repeat that one more time… ." He growled at the short blond but his words only caused the blond to widen his eyes more and gasped dramatically. He quickly approached the other doctor, pinching his left cheek as his eyes looked down at his morning cereal.
"No instant reaction…" Nick stepped back only to quickly march towards the window, pulling the curtains opened hastily.
"And the sun rose only AN HOUR AGO!"
"…"
"BRYAN! XAVIER! GUYS! COME QUICK! THE ALIENS ABDUCTED STEVEN AND SENT US A REPLACEMENT-"
"…"
"CALL THE POLICE! THE ARMY! THE GOVERNMENT!"
Steven would've jumped and strangled the blond right then and there but he definitely wouldn't even make it half way. Miracles happen slowly… especially in the morning.
Nick grinned after he got his dose of sarcasm morning humour. He plopped down a chair opposite of Steven as he grabbed on a granola bar to munch on.
"Hey, Steven…"
"… What?"
"Do you remember when we were in sixth grade, I dared you to hang upside down on the monkey bars and I helped you flash your superman underwear to all those five-year-olds and their moms?"
"… Is there a reason why are you bringing this up now?" Steven said as he rubbed his temple. Nick chuckled, shrugging his shoulders.
"Not really. I just felt the need to remind you how embarrassing you are. And that I just want you to remember that you've done a lot of embarrassing things in your life, so more embarrassing incidents to come shouldn't be that bad."
Steven groaned, his imagination already stabbed the other blond to death five times.
"Thank you for being so… supportive, Nick." Nick titled his head to one side, the smirk returning to his child-like face.
"Well, you're very welcome! Now I can finally tell Christian that he was wrong." At those words, Steven had to raise a questioning eyebrow.
"What was he wrong about?"
Nick threw away the now empty plastic of granola bar into the trash bin, taking his leave at the same time.
"Just something about me not being able to talk to you without making you mad for five minutes... but he was wrong!" the blond grinned innocently at the other man as he stared blankly at him for a second. It was the next second that the blond paediatrician had to run out from the kitchen, screaming for his life, followed by an enraged house mate with a knife in his hand, chasing for him.

Another blond watched with nervous eyes as a brunette placed a small card on a certain blond haired doctor's table.
