5. All Is Revealed

“What do you mean you aren’t coming down?!” Violet’s voice rang through the girls’ dormitory as she stared at her best friend. The pair had been discussing Violet’s date with Sirius and what happened down at the Black Lake between Cassi and Teddy. Cassi sighed softly as she looked to her best friend “I mean I’m not coming down, I don’t know if I can face her… What if she doesn’t want anything to do with me?” Violet wrapped an arm around her best friend and comforted her “You don’t even have to let her see you if you don’t want to but please come down and sit with me?” she asked softly and Cassi slowly nodded with a small smile on her lips. The pair slowly made their way downstairs, the students were allowed to wear their own clothes so they both were wearing black skinny jeans, Cassi wore a green vest top while Violet was wearing a green halter neck with silver flecks through it. Both girls were wearing flats and while Violet’s black hair was down and wavy, Cassi had hers pulled back into a braid so that she didn’t look exactly like who she thought her mother was.

Sirius was waiting in the common room for the girls, he wore a dark pair of jeans with a green shirt, it was obvious that the trio were Slytherins by their clothes. Today Sirius had decided that he would spike his hair up slightly. The three of them made their way up to the Great Hall where Teddy was standing by the door, Cassi’s face lit up slightly as he walked over and kissed her softly on the cheek “Could I possibly sit with you? My cousin is doing my head in!” he chuckled lightly as he slipped his hand into Cassi’s who giggled and nodded “Oh, and will you go out with me Cas?” he whispered in her ear, causing the blonde to blush furiously but not with a small smile on her lips “Of course” she mumbled as they walked in and much to Cassi’s annoyance both boys decided to sit at the front. Cassi leaned her head on Teddy’s shoulder as the rest of the students walked in and took their seats. It was a while later that Professor McGonagall walked in and the whispering all stopped as she began to speak.

“Well of course, you are all here to see the Golden Trio but things have changed slightly and we have a little more people coming to speak as well. When word got out that they were coming to speak to you all a few other ex-students asked if they were allowed to come as well and since they were all a part of the Battle we decided to let them come too… So I would like to introduce to you… Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, Hermione Weasley, Ginny Potter, Luna Longbottom, Professor Longbottom, Draco Malfoy and Seamus Finnigan!” The entire school erupted in cheers as the guests walked in. Cassi simply looked at Sirius in shock as she looked at both Hermione and Draco; there was no mistaking it… The twins did look like them! They all began to talk about their times at Hogwarts and what it had been like living during times of war. Everyone was listening to their every word, trying to imagine what it must have been like for them.

The ginger haired girl who was sitting a few seats away from the twins was smiling as she looked up at the adults. Ron looked down at her and smiled lightly at her and she waved up at him, you could tell just by looking that they were related as was that Ginny girl. Harry’s eyes fell on Teddy and smiled at him before looking at Cassi in shock; he instantly saw the resemblance and knew that he would have to investigate what was going on. The talk lasted a couple of hours, including some questions being asked. Professor McGonagall slowly got the students to leave but left Cassi, Sirius, Teddy, Violet and the girl who she discovered was called Victoire in the room with the guests. Hermione’s eyes fell on the twins who stood close together and gasped, quickly shaking her head. Cassi bit down on her lip as she cuddled into Sirius a little but squeezed Teddy’s hand a little, she was glad the pair of them was with her at that moment. Violet smiled softly at Draco before walking over and giving him a quick hug “Hey Uncle Draco” she said softly as she pulled back slightly and slipped her hand into Sirius’ it was then he saw how similar he was to him and he couldn’t do anything but stare.
