Leah and Tarren sat across their parents and Leah was nervous as usual. "So, what do you need to tell us?" Tarren's dad asked. "Well, you see dad. We went to an 8th grade party at school. And it was themed on masquerade. Then I kissed Leah, then I asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend. I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Tarren explained, quietly.
"And what do you need to say Leah?" Leah's mom asked. "Same thing as Tarren.. I kissed him at the 8th grade party and he asked me out. So I said yes. And I was worried you, dad, and Tarren's parents would get mad at the two of us." Leah replied quietly, wiping her tears. "I'm happy you told us the truth." Tarren's mom smiled.
Leah looked at the two pairs of parents and tears fell. "I'm sorry, Mr. Cahoon and Mrs. Cahoon." Tarren turned to Leah's parents and apologized, "I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. Ederer." The two pairs of parents looked at the younger couple and said, "Don't apologize. We're happy that you're growing up."
Leah wiped her tears again and smiled. "Well, Leah and I are going to the mall if you need us." Tarren waved and gave Leah a piggyback ride to the entrance of the mall. "Why do you have Leah on your back?" Tarren's friends Isak, Cedar, Dante, and Nahshon asked.
"She's my girlfriend. You should know this by now." Tarren replied, taking Leah to Anime World. "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" Tarren whispered in Leah's ear as she was looking at the anime posters. When Leah heard Tarren's voice, she screamed then covered her mouth. "No. You haven't." Leah muffled.
"This much." Tarren smiled and removed Leah's hands, and pressed his lips onto Leah's. Leah's cheeks filled with red as everyone stared at her. Cedar who was in the store as well, who was getting jealous really quickly. "Do you like Leah?" Dante asked. "No. What are you talking about?" Cedar blushed, rubbing the back of his neck.
Cedar did like Leah but he knew that one of his best friends was dating her. "It seems like you do. I mean look at you! You're mad and jealous." Dante pointed out. "I'm not jealous!" Cedar shouted. "Then explain the writing on your wrist, that says Leah x Cedar!" Isak added.
"That's not my hand writing." Cedar replied. "Really? Then write 'Leah x Cedar' on this piece of paper." Nahshon handed the other a piece of paper and Cedar wrote it the same exact way that was on his wrist.
