Katelyn's P.O.V

I wake up from my hour nap. Wow I slept for an hour? I thought to myself. As i open the door to my room i walk out towards the kitchen. Since there was still some cookies in the jar i grabbed one and ate it as i walked to the living room. "Oh hi Katelyn-Sama." Kawaii-Chan greeted me. "Hey Kawaii Chan wheres Aphmau?" I asked her. "Oh Aphmau-Senpai is with Aron-Kun's house." Kawaii-Chan explained.

"I'm going out for a walk call me if you need anything Kawaii-Chan!" I shout when i left the door. As I was walking I saw Zane leave his house in a hurry. My curiosity took the better of be and I began to tail Zane. As I was following him he turn and ran in a different direction. I follow after him also running. When I turned where he did it was a dead end.

Wait where did he go there's no way he could have vanished?! I thought to myself and walked away.

Zane's P.O.V

"(Sigh) Glad i lost her." I told myself as I jump off the building i was on. You know her curiosity will kill her right? Enza Said as i walk to the grocery store. "Yeah which is why i'm avoiding her." I said to myself. When i enter the store i look at the fruit section. Once i got all the stuff i need and payed for it all i begin to walk back home.

As i'm walking I couldn't help but get the feeling that i'm being watched. I begin to walk a little faster and since I didn't see where i was going i bump into Katelyn. "Hey watch where you'r going...Zane? What are you doing here?" Katelyn asked looking at me. I stand up and help Katelyn to her feet.

"I to need food and water if i were to live." I teased her. "Oh very funny Zane." Katelyn said with an annoyed look. We stood there for about a few minutes until i began to gather up my stuff and walked away. Before I could leave Katelyn grabs my arm, "What...is...you'r...job...Zane?" Katelyn asked a bit awkwardly

I stood there awkwardly I didn't know what to say should I tell her or keep avoiding the question. "Why dose it matter to you anyway?" I ask not turning my head in her direction. "I...I...I just wanted to know." Katelyn said letting go of my arm. "Why? It's not like it would be of much use to you." I said an began to walk away.

As I was walking I was interrupted by her again. "Why are you like this?" Katelyn asked me. I still didn't turn around and began walking again. "WHY DO YOU KEEP EVERYONE AWAY FROM YOURSELF!" Katelyn shout's at me. I still keep walking until she shouted something that stopped me dead in my tracks. "WHY DIDN'T YOU COME TO JEFFRY'S FUNERAL!" Katelyn shouted.

I turn around and throw something at her. Katelyn fumbles to catch the object but still catches it. "What is this?" Katelyn asked me. The object itself was a green pendent. "A gift from Jeffrey said he wanted to give you this." I told her while walking away.

As i'm walking back home I hear another voice this time it wasn't Enza it was Jeffrey's? "Why would you do that for me?" Said the voice to me. "it's the least I could do after I you know killed you Jeffrey." I said to myself. "Thank You uh...I think?" Jeffrey said A bit confused.

"No problem." I said as I was about to open the door I heard Foot steps again. I turn around and I saw Katelyn again. "Uh what are you-" I was cut off when Katelyn cried into my shoulder. "Tell me Zane...How long have you had this necklace?" She said in between sobs.

"Long story short I only had it since the day he died." I told her. Katelyn looked at my with red puffy eyes. "Tell me what is your job?" She asked me. I began to think really hard until i finally gave in. "Fine but you need to promise me that you will not tell anyone not even Aphmau." I said while walking inside the house with Katelyn following close behind.

As we enter my room turn toward her and showed the hidden blade. "Where were you hiding that thing?!" Katelyn shouted a bit surprised. "It's a hidden blade it the main weapon the Assassins use." I explained

"Your a killer?" Katelyn said with fear in her eyes. "In a way yes...But we don't kill for fun." I explained even more. "Oh okay." Katelyn sighed with relief. "So your job is to kill people?" Katelyn asked me.

"Yes and no." I stated clearly. "Why?" Katelyn asked and I froze for a second. "I work in the dark to serve the light." I stated firmly. "What dose that mean?" Katelyn asked again. "It means we kill for a purpose not for fun." I stated again.

Katelyn's P.O.V

I was going to ask Zane another question but I got a phone call from Aphmau. "Hello?...You Want what?...Why?...OK...OK bye." I said while hanging up the phone. "Who was that?" Zane asked me. "Oh it was Aphmau saying she wanted something from the store." I explained to him. "Right any way you promise not to tell anyone." Zane asked me.

"If you could do one thing for me." i said with a smirk. "And what would that be?" Zane asked a bit suspicious. "I want you to kiss me." I said with a smile. "WHAT!" shouted a flustered Zane. "If you want me to keep your secret you have to do what I say." I stated with a smirk. "And why would i do that?" Asked Zane.

"Because you wouldn't risk that fact that your a bronie now would you?" i said with a smirk. Without a single word Zane ran up to me in one swoop his lips made contact with mine. I felt a surge of energy rush through my body. I was melted into the kiss that I began to wrap my arms around Zane's neck to deepen the kiss.

We both eventually separated for air. "Now will you keep my secret?" Zane said still holding onto me. I nod and hug Zane before leaving.

As I walked home and ignored the greeting's from Kawaii-Chan and fell to sleep with a smile on my face.

Zane's P.O.V

"What have I gotten my self into?" I said to myself as I fell to sleep.
