The sun was continuing to rise by the time Amanda stirred beside me. When she was able to calm me down enough to settle me into bed, I asked her, sniffling here and there, to stay with me. I was too afraid to be alone with myself in such a state. Thankfully, she agreed, a gentle smile adorning her face as she softly pet my hair. She placed a tender kiss on my forehead as if I was her child before she made herself comfortable beside me on the bedsheets. Feeling each other's warmth and breathing, we gave ourselves up to the finally calm night and fell asleep."Yyyaaaahhhh... Good Morning, Simon," she greeted, still sounding sleepy.
"Good Morning, Sweetheart," I replied back, copying her actions from a few hours ago and placing a kiss on her forehead as I hugged her.
She smiled sweetly and returned the hug, before slowly removing herself from the bed. "We have to fly out this evening, correct?"
"Yes; Ant and Dec have to be at the audition site first thing tomorrow morning, and taking the train will just take too long," I stretched my body as I removed myself from the bed as well.
"But you own a private jet, Simon," she giggled.
"Yes, but as of right now, I don't feel like winding up the boys". Amanda gasped in mock surprise before we both burst into laughter.
*knock, knock*
"Who could that be now?" I asked, pretending to be annoyed as I made my way to the door.
"It's probably Alesha. We were supposed to go out and have brunch together this morning. She's probably looking for me since we have joint rooms that we left accessible to each other,"
Alesha knocked on the door again, this time louder. "I'm coming Alesha!" I yelled before yanking the door opened.
"Never thought you had a thing for Alesha - that explains why you prefer her over the rest of us!"
It wasn't Alesha.
It was David. My heart was running away, taking my voice with it as I stared over the man that caused me so much anguish last night. Though he had his smutty grin in place, I couldn't help but notice his eyes weren't as bright. In fact, I could see specks of worry and sadness ('and is that...jealousy I see?!' feeling secretly glad) behind the otherwise solid neutral mask they had on display.
So caught up in the staring, I barely missed Amanda shout "David! Get your mind out of the gutter - especially when it comes to Alesha!"
"Geez, alright woman!" David exclaimed. I tried my best not to laugh at that. "I know you have a thing for her, but you know I was only kidding".
What?
I turned my head back towards Amanda: her - honestly adorable - glare was ruined by the streak of scarlet painted across her cheekbones. I couldn't believe it. Nor could I help asking, "Is this true? Does she know?"
"Know what?"
"AAAAHHH!" the three of us nearly jumped out of our skins, staring at the singer/dancer as she laughed at us uncontrollably.
"Alesha, you nearly gave us heart attacks," I stated.
She shrugged her shoulders apologetically. "Sorry. What were you guys talking about?"
"What do you think we were talking about?" Amanda asked her sweetly, as if her biggest secret wasn't revealed mere moments ago. I can't believe I never noticed how close the two girls are to each other... It explains why she's touchy feely with the singer, going as far as to grab her b-
"Well, from what I heard last night - "
"What did you hear?" Please tell me it was not me sobbing.
Please.
"I don't know if I should be saying this," she's barely containing her giggles, "but apparently Ant and Dec are huge wrestling fans,"
"WHAT????!!!!" Amanda shrieked excitedly. She ran pass me - almost knocking me over - and joined hands with a cackling Alesha. "ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?! PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE, I TOTALLY SHIP THEM!!!!"
"Why don't we go interrogate - I mean ask them!" Alesha suggested before pulling Amanda away in the direction of the Geordie duo's room.
David and I stand between my doorway, watching the girls run off in stunned silence. Then turned and stared at each other. Both of us thinking 'did that really just happened?'
David broke the ice. "Do you want to go in and make out?"
"David!"
Typical, smutty David.
I wouldn't have him any other way.
