What Makes You Think That?

Bree's P.O.V-

"What makes you think that?" I asked.

"I saw Band-Aids on his left arm going up and down and blood all over his arms." Skylar said.

"Maybe you just saw things. I mean I always see things that really aren't there." I said.

"Yeah, but I'm 100% sure that I saw it. Plus, I have really good sense of smell and I swear my life  that I smelt dry blood." Skylar said. I sighed.

"Maybe. Are you 200% sure?" I asked.

"Yes."

"300%" I asked with a smirk.

"Yes! 300% sure!"

"400%?" 

"BREE!!" Skylar whined.

"GUYS!! GET DOWN HERE QUICK!" Kaz shouted.

"What's wrong, now?" I asked, whining before speeding down to the boys' bedroom with Skylar right behind me.

"What's wrong?" I asked. I saw Chase asleep in his capsule bed. Poor thing. He was even shaking. I walked over to my baby brother and kissed his forehead gently.

"Anyway, what do you want? My new and better boyfriend is asleep." Skylar said.

"I saw a lot of blood on the sink and floor in the bathroom. I just wanted to show you. I think it might be Chase's." Kaz explained.

"What?" I breathed.

"Told ya." Skylar said. I shot a glare towards her way.

"Told Bree what?" Kaz asked.

"Come into our bedroom and we'll explain. I don't want to awake Chase." Skylar said.

In The Girls' Bedroom-

"What happened?" Kaz asked.

"Okay, when we were going to bed I said that I think Chase is cutting. Bree was like, 'What makes you think that?' And I was like, 'Because I saw bandages running up and down Chase's left arm.' And she was like, 'You could've saw things.' But, no Chase is a cutter. We just have to find out how long he was a cutter and why he just randomly falls asleep. Also, I bought a new pack of pain killers because we ran out and every single one was gone. Have any of you been taking them?" Skylar explained.

"I took one. Only because my stomach and arms were hurting." I said then looked towards Kaz.

"No. And I don't think Douglas and Oliver are taking them. Maybe it's Chase." Kaz suggested.

"But why would Chase need pain killers?" I asked.

"Maybe he's in pain but doesn't tell us." Skylar suggested.

"He is really good at hiding his emotions....." I said trailing off.

"How do you know that?" Kaz asked.

"I had lived with Adam for 15 years of my life. He had always thrown Chase around. When he turned 10 he had stopped come crying to me because of the pain. He just glared hard at Adam every time he threw Chase." I explained.

"Oh." They said.

"Let's just ask Douglas just to be 100% sure." Skylar said.

"To be-" I said but got cut off by Skylar.

"Don't even start, Bree." She said. We then walked around the skyscraper to try and find Douglas.

"We looked everywhere. We can't find Douglas." Kaz said, out of breath.

"Probably because you just ran back and forth down a hall to make it look like you were looking. Kaz, you're not always alone." I said.

"Creep." He said.

"Wait, the only place we haven't looked was Mission Command. Lets check there." Skylar pointed out.

"You're right! Let's go!" I said and we all ran down there. But before Kaz took off he said, "UGH!! More running!!" I started laughing. It was pretty funny, if you ask me.

"DOUGLAS!!" We all shouted.

"What? What's wrong?" Douglas asked panicking.

"Have you... like been taking any pain killers?" I asked.

"Umm, no. Why?" He asked.

"Oh, because we ran out and we wanted to know if you took any recently." I explained.

Douglas' P.O.V-

"Oh, because we ran out and we wanted to know if you took any recently." Bree explained. They are hiding something! But what?

"What are you guys hiding?" I asked.

"NOTHING!!" They all shouted, way to quickly.

"Crack. Guys, please! I can help you!" I pleaded. I really hope it's not about Chase.

"UGH! Fine. I had brought a new pack of pain killers, YESTERDAY! Keep that in mind. Because we had ran out. So when I went to the medicine cabinet I saw that they were all gone. But, I bought some yesterday so someone had to be taking them. But we just can't find out who. Kaz, isn't taking them. Bree isn't. Apparently you aren't. We haven't seen Oliver since the whole fiasco yesterday and Chase is just under the covers of his bed, sleeping. And shivering. We thought it might be him. But we just can't find out why." Skylar explained. And it's about Chase.

"We have to get some answers. Let's just not itterogate him. He's been through a lot these past days. Maybe, we can get answers by spying on him." I said.

"Great idea Douglas!" Kaz said.

"Wait, where's Oliver?" Bree asked.

So you guys! Since I love this story so much I will update this story sometime later today! I promise! Just to warn: I might not be able to update on June 16th. Now you may be going: Why? Well, because I'm graduating 5th grade that day. I have an event after school at like 7:00 at night going till like 9 and yeah. Since my class  is like the first to graduate I will only have 2 hours of school. SO you may be lucky enough to get a new chapter but I might get it done by then. :) Got to go!
