[We climbed the hill far from the city wall, to the empty mansions and the big graveyard]

"Come on! Hurry up!" My little sisters voice lingered in my head. Now all that was left was this pile of ashes.

[I've not felt this strange since I was a kid, that deep down feeling of that Sunday emptiness]

"Do we have to go to church? I don't wanna!" I whined to my parents when I was a kid. Now, it's better than staying home alone without her.

[We watched the summer ducklings clean their wings, they'll soon find out what coldness winter brings]

"Lookie! Lookie! Lookie! Birdies!" She used to be mesmerised by the flocks migrations. Now, there's only silence.

[No comfort could be found inside his arms, when my head was full of thoughts of cold wet ground]

"She's happy there, there will be lots of birds, and picnics, and singing, and fun. Don't worry, she'll be fine." He tried to comfort me as I wept. Now, all I can imagine is what it felt like being burned and buried.

[And he said I've come to hate your heart, 'Cause it's like the rolling sea, restless, hungry, and only cruel to me]

"You stopped thinking about others and became obsessed with your sister!" He yelled at me. Now, there are no more others to think about.

[And all the tiny shops had closed their doors, and TVs flickered from inside the homes]

"Where are you going?" I didn't listen. Now, I'm wandering around alone.

[And church bells told us time was passing on, but we were far from where we both were from]

"I wonder where I am?" I was lost. Now, there is no turning back.

[My hands were cold, the bus it would not come, a crazy woman told us to stay warm]

"You'll freeze to death!" She said. Now, I don't even care anymore.

[But warmth is something I shall never have, and my frozen heart's made damn well sure of that]

"Where's an inn or a shop or anything?" I'm so cold. Now, I know I'll join her.

[And he said I've come to hate your heart, 'Cause it's like the rolling sea, restless, hungry, and only cruel to me]

"This is all your fault." You left me. Now. you've killed me.
