Chapter 3

Ellie's POV.

I can't wait for this afternoon/evening! We're gonna go to Taco Bell and then I don't really know. Aha. Hopefully he planned something else too because I wanna spend more times with him. I text Kate to say Im busy with Connor and Ill see her on Saturday.

Today is Friday and Im so glad because this week was exhausting. Right now it's 10:30am and Im eating breakfast on my couch watching YouTube videos on my Mac.

I should probably get ready since it takes me forever to make me look the way I want it to. I put my dirty dish in the sink and head to my bedroom. I lay out a 'Hoodie Allen' tank top and some white ripped skinny jeans with a pair of red toms.

I go to the bathroom located down the hall and turn the shower on. I let the steam spread throughout the tiny room and get 'nude' before I climb into the shower.

I let the steamy hit water run down my body as I shampoo and condition my hair twice. I get out and wrap a towel around my wet body as I scurry into my room. It's 11:15. Did I really take that long? Whoops. I put on the clothes I layed out on my bed and start to blowfly my hair. After my brown is dry, I curl it into big beach waves. It looks decent.

I start with my makeup now. I put on a cute yet flirty kind of eyeshadow on with sparkles then apply some eyeliner. I put on some mascara and pink lip gloss.

I look at my reflection, happy with my apperance. I smile. Cute yet casual. Fun but flirty. By the time Im done is 12:50. Oh god, he gonna be here in 10 minutes. Im so excited yet nervous!

*10 minutes later*

There's a knock at my door. Ah, that's him! I open the door and see Connor in his usual casual clothing. He was holding something behind his back, I couldn't tell what it was but I decided not to ask him about it.

" Hello lovely" He said hesitant in the begginning

"Hey" I flash my bright smile

Connor takes a rosé out from behind his back and smiles. My smile widens.

"Awehh! Your so adorable!" I take a sniff " It smells so good too! Lemme just put it in some water"

I let him in as I go get a vase with water to put the rose in. I come back and grab my purse with all my belongings in it.

"Let's go!" I say

Connor holds out his hand for me to take "M'lady" He laughs as I laugh with him and I let out a little snort.

I cover my mouth and my eyes widen. Shoot. Now I look crazy and weird. I look down at the ground and laugh quietly. Conner tilts my head up " You have a beautiful laugh"

I blush so much my face looks like a tomato. Dang. He knows how to give a girl butterflies. I think this is gonna go well.

Connor's POV.

I think this is gonna go well.

Well, atleast I hope so. I really like her but I don't wanna push anything to quickly, not unless Ellie is ok with it.

Like the gentleman I am I lead her into my car then start to drive to TacoBell. We laugh the whole way there then park in the parking lot. I feel bad we're just coming here so I figured we go to the highest hill in California and look over the amazing place.

I open the door for her and we order.

"How may I help you?" a middle aged woman asks us

" I'd like a #3 please with a Sprite" I say

"And I'd like a chicken bowl with a Sprite too please" Ellie's sweet voice speaks

"Alright. Here or to go?" The woman questions us

"Her-" Ellie get cut off by me

"To go" I say

Ellie has a confused expression on her face mixed with happiness and shock. I laugh.

"Alrighty, that 11.56$ please" The woman speaks

Ellie grabs her wallet out of her purse but I beat her to it. I hand the woman my money and she gives me the change. Ellie gives me a death glare but then shakes it off.

Ellie's POV.

Where are we going? I think to myself as we walk out with our food.

"You'll see" He states simply

Ugh. I stare out the window and hope awkward silence dosent take over.
