The black stripes shimmered through the tall, swaying grass as the sun reflected off them. The small gazelle's head shot up and looked around skittishly. A flash of orange appeared hidden in the grass and coppery eyes glinted at the gazelle. It kicked up its front legs, attempting to run, but the young deer knew it was too late.
The tiger sprang out from the grass, teeth bared and claws out. It landed gracefully and began bellowing toward the gazelle. It ran as the massive tiger stepped on its heels and clawed at its legs. The tiger leaped and landed on its back, causing them both to tumble. With one giant swipe of its jaw, the teeth snapped the poor animal's neck, quick and painless.
This wasn't anything big for the tiger, this was its natural environment and behavior. They kill to survive. They do not kill for fun. Shouldn't humans act the same?
