Olivia pov//
I see Ethan walking towards Ava and I. Although I'm completely out of it, I know we're still dead. Grayson and Jack followed closely behind him.Ava and I were so drunk that we couldn't really walk, so Grayson had to carry me and Ethan had to carry Ava into the car.
The whole ride home was silent. They didn't want to yell at us as our hangover was beginning and we felt disgusting. My head pounded, I felt nauseous, and I felt dizzy/light headed the whole time home. The car was silent. I knew we were dead tomorrow.
The next day
I woke up to a pounding migraine and an upset stomach. Ava was tossing and turning into her bed that was next to mine. She was groaning and mumbling that her head hurt. This was my first hangover and I wanted it to be my last. I got out of bed when I heard a knock on my door.
"W-who is it?" I said, rubbing my head. "Olivia, open the door." I heard Grayson say. I slowly opened the door and saw everyone standing there. Ava's parents, the twins, and Cameron. Jack had gone home last night as he knew today was going to be a rough day in the family.
"Ava, come with us." Ava's parents said, motioning her to follow them. Ava followed them into the room and the door shut behind them. I looked at the twins and Cameron as they looked back at me. Oh god.
"Olivia, we need to talk to you. Go sit on your bed." Cameron commanded. I did as told, and they sat on Ava's bed across from me.
"Why, Olivia, did you chose to sneak out, party, and get wasted?" Grayson asked, calmly. I was surprised they weren't yelling at me, so I decided to let them know how I really felt.
"I'm 13. I was pressured into going and I thought it would be fun to be rebellious. I wanted to try alcohol again and I got out of hand. But what I really don't understand is why you all are so protective over me. I'm not 7 years old. For a lot of my friends, their older brothers and sisters treat them like friends and help them get away with stuff. All you guys do is bust me and treat me like a baby." I said, looking at them with a serious look. I didn't mean to offend them, but I needed to get that off my chest.
They looked at each other, then back at me. I don't think they knew what to say at first.
"Olivia, I don't think we treat you like a baby. Older siblings are always protective over their younger siblings." Cameron said.
"Before mom and dad died, we had such a great relationship. We were sarcastic with each other and like best friends. Now, you're so protective over me and you don't let me get away with anything." I said, picking at my nails.
"I guess we just feel we have to protect you now that mom and dad are gone. We don't want to be your parents, but we want you to be happy and be okay." Grayson said, sympathetically . I guess I understood more now.
"I get it. Sooo, does this mean I'm not in trouble?" I asked, smiling sweetly at them. "You're funny, Livi." Ethan said as they all laughed. Oh well. I tried. "Okay, what is it." I said.
"Say goodbye to your phone for a while. Also, you're grounded for two weeks. Again. You're going to do all of your chores and a few extra everyday. If you cooperate and do all of the things you're told, you can have your phone back soon. Deal?" Grayson asked. I was expecting worse.
"Ugh, fine." I said, rolling my eyes. Ethan left the room, followed by Grayson and Cameron. As much as I hated my siblings being parents to me, it was still nice having people who cared about me. I love them.
