I am running, dodging trees, jumping over bushes. Fear courses it's way through my blood, through my body. I can hear his footsteps behind me, the pounding of his boots as he catches up, as he comes closer to me.
Then he jumps. I feel his arms wrap around me, his momentum throwing us, rolling, onto the forest floor. We when finally stop moving, he has me pinned down, my hands over my head, a knife at my throat.
"Don't kill me," I whimper, turning away from him.
"Don't worry, little sister, I won't," he says with a crazed laugh.
I sigh with relief. "But that doesn't mean I won't hurt you," he says, moving the knife to the corner of my left eye. I scream as the blade tears into my flesh, as he drags the knife slowly down to the corner of my lip.
The last thing I see are his blue eyes, so much like my own, before I black out.
