Above nature: that which is beyond nature, often so considered because it is given by a deity or some force beyond that which humans are born with. Not of the usual; not natural; altered by forces that are not understood fully at all.

Katrina read those words she had underlined, four years ago, again and again. But she still couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t make her one. She had never been happy a day in her life, all she wanted was everything except being her, being Katrina. She wanted to be a different person, a different face, and different name, to be totally different.

She wanted to be loved. Why couldn’t she get what she wanted? Crystal got what she wanted 150 years ago, why couldn’t she? Maybe even the forces of the world hated her.

“God, what’s this smell?” a blond haired girl says as she walks into the room

Three other girls enter the room with their nose covered

“Spread the curtains, its smells really horrible in here” the blond haired girl creased her nose in disgust

“Amy, I think I know why” a short girl with two long pony tails hanging down her shoulders pointed towards Katrina’s bed that was at the last corner in the room

“That’s so true Amy; I can perceive it from here. The ugliness” another girl with short black hair said

“Gosh, Katrina, Katrina, get out of this room with all your ugliness now” Amy screamed

Katrina looked on unperturbed, she expected it. She had hurriedly eaten her lunch in the room while the other students were in the dining hall. Since no one would sit with her. The only person who ever sat with her was Chris the girl with the braces, she thought they were friends and for the first time, she was beginning to feel human, not until Chris found another girl who had braces too and was beautiful and decided she had found her perfect match, making Katrina into a total ridicule.

“Move it pest, Shree spray this room after she is gone” Amy ordered the girl with the pony tails

Katrina took her book, her only companion and walked out of the room to the only place that accommodated her apart from her book.
