I'm driving my car home, trying not to cry so I can see the road. As soon as I pull in the driveway, I put the parking break on and the tears start flowing again. I don't know how I'll survive the rest of high school without her. In middle school, I met her and she was there for everyone. Not just me. Some might take her for granted, but I don't. I love her with all my heart. She is my best friend. She was there for me; through the good times and the bad times.

I get out of the car and start walking to my room. Before I even get to the stairs, my mom sees me. I'm not wearing any makeup, so nothing is streaking down my face but the tears. "Oh, honey," she starts, "wanna talk about it?"

I shake my head no.

"Come here." She sits me down on the couch and just holds me while I cry.

"Sweetie, I'm sorry to say, but you have your first date in two hours with Drew."

I nod, still sobbing. My mom kisses my head and stands up.

"Why don't you take a shower and get dressed and I'll be upstairs in an hour to do your hair."

I nod again and head upstairs sniffing and wiping my eyes with a tissue.

I turn on the water steaming hot and get in. The water massages my back and my tears eventually stop falling.

I get out and put on the yellow dress I picked out earlier with the compression shorts because Drew is taking me on a picnic. I also put on my brown sandals and put on very subtle eye shadow, because I don't like makeup but I think eye shadow is pretty and adds just a little touch of fanciness.

"Sweetie, are you ready for me to do your hair?" mom asks, standing outside my door.

"Yes," I mumble.

Mom does my hair in a half up hairstyle. It is simple but elegant.

"Are you ready to go, sweetie?"

"Yes, yes I am."

I get downstairs to wait on the couch for Drew and find that my dad brought my sisters home from dance.

"Why are you dressed up?" Nova asks.

"Where are you going?" Tessa asks.

"I am going on my first date! I am waiting for him to pick me up."

"Ooh, what's his name?" Tessa asks.

"Dr-"

Ding,  the doorbell rings.

So I based Lillian on me. So here is the outfit she wore on her first date

(That is my hair and I have those exact shoes) also, I haven't had my first date yet and I'm only 14 and Lillian is 16.

This is me, aka Lillian (just pretend I look 16) I'll post a picture of me when I turn 16, if you feel like waiting 2 years.
