What is magic?
Ask a lot of people.
Is it of simmering pots or charming spells,
Or of ancient runes or wishing wells.

For some it is the boy who lived,
For some, it is the lord of the rings;
Some think of it as pure light and holy,
Whereas some; as dark and baloney.

People remember the magic that they see,
But not the magic that they feel.
Magic is nothing but a spark,
A spark that is present in all of us.

To be able to smile is magic,
To be able to hear the birds singing, is magic;
To be able to sail through life is magic,
To be able to love, is magic.

It is this magic that makes us find happiness in the oddest of things;
To be bold and unique.
To be able to live life on your own terms,
That is the true magic within us.
