Chapter six - Beautiful smile

 Chapter 6

I keep singing, I might be in a bit of a chock, but I have learned from Andy that even if you see something in the crowd, you need to focus on the lyrics you're singing. And that's what I do, I just sing, even though the guy of my dreams is standing in the crowd, after not seeing him in a year. He smiles so beautiful to me, I could almost cry.

As the song ends and I stop singing, people cheer and clap very loudly, it's unbelievable, I can't be that good. CC comes over and hugs me from behind, I'm crying now for sure, so I'm extremely happy by the fact that I'm not wearing as much warpaint as them. I try to spot Danny in the crowd again, but he's gone, instead, I see someone else, someone I didn't wanted to see here.

“Andy” I say frightened, but not in the mike, just so I'm sure he heard it.

“What is it?” he ask smiling, but it turns down pretty quick as he sees my face.

“Run”

He looks out in the crowd, and from what his face says, he can see him. He runs out backstage.

“Andy!” Ashley shout after him.

He turns to me with a confused face.

“He's here” I tell him.

He got what I said right away, and without any doubt he follows Andy. I look at the rest of the guys, they still have no clue of what I'm talking about, but right now, I need to end this show, fast.

“Sorry for Andy and Ash leaving all of a sudden, but you know, rockstars, you can never figure them out. Heh, thank you so much for everything, and for making my first birthday with these guys as my family and all of you too, the best birthday ever, I love you” I have no idea of how I got that out of my mouth, but it's out and I can't take it back now.

I turn to CC, my eyes are full of tears, he notes how scared I am, and knows that he's here, and he's not just gonna leave right away. As the people are cheering, Andy and Ash comes back on stage, and a gun is fired.

Lucky for Andy it missed him, none of us are hurt, only CC´s drums.

“Aw man” I hear him say since there's a big hole in the big drum.

The crowd get frightened, some of them screams, I see some cry, and they all just freak completely out. CC lifts me up and carry me back stage, I get he's scared that I will be hurt, but I'm more worried for Andy, he's the one in danger.

“CC I want to help” I tell him as he puts me down on a chair.

“No, I have kept you out of things like this for a whole year, and I want to continue that”

“But”

“No Music”

The look he gives me, I have never seen him making that look before, he has always been that fun daddy always ready for a party, but also just to relax to a good movie. Suddenly he realize what he have just said to me, he can feel that something in him changed the moment he saw me in danger again.

“Music I, I'm so sorry, but I care to much about you to see you get hurt again” it looks like he's crying.

I have seen him cry before, and I just can't stand seeing that again, I just want to see his smile, that beautiful smile that never failed to cheer me up. The smile that can make everyone happy, the one that always have so much joy and positivity in it, that you can't help but smile back. But it's not there, it turns the wrong way, and the eyes that always sparkled beautifully to me when I needed it, is full of tears and sadness.

“You are my everything Music, I don't know what to do without you, I don't want to lose you”

“CC I”

“Hey cunts!” some guy yells after us.

We both turn our heads to see him holding Danny with a frightened look in his eyes.

“Listen up, the others are fine, for now, but I found this guy while I tried to find you here, and I'm pretty sure he knows you Jess.” he says as he's moving closer. “I think he's fitting for going first, don't you?” he asks me.

CC stands up.

“Let go of him, he hasn’t done anything to you” he says.

“Neither have you, but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to kill you at some point.” he says and hits him in the head with the gun.

I scream CC name out. He's unconscious, at least not dead. I look at the guy who hit him. He hits me too. Everything goes black.
