I sighed as I put down, yet another, basket of fruit under some shade to be sent to the castle. The sun had been relentless today in Sindria, I wiped the sweat from my brow and checked to see if everything was in order. I smiled and nodded as everything seemed to be in order.

"Okay, everything is good over here!" I called out to the man in the wagon, who was getting ready to bring it to the castle. He gave me a thumbs up and asked if I should join him since I was the one responsible for sending most of the produce to be cooked at the castle.

"Oh... Sure, Oji-san!" I said as I sat down next to him, "anyway, how's Obaa-san?" I asked referring to the half-moon necklace around his neck which shined brighter compared to the half-flower necklace I had.

He smiled at me, "she's fine, she's gotten a bit sick lately but I'm sure she'll pull through it," he stated with a smile as he grasped the necklace firmly. Everyone who was born was soon given a necklace by some mysterious force but it was only half, your soul mate has the other half.

I smiled back at him, "I hope to find my own soul mate soon," I said as I gazed down at my flower necklace longingly.

He chuckled, "I'm sure you will soon. Who knows? He could work at the castle," he said, bringing his eyes back to the cobblestone path. I looked to him and grew curious about one knew without looking at their necklace.

I grasped the necklace and brought my eyes down to gaze at it, "you think so? How did you know it was Obaa-san?" I asked, "I mean, how did you know without looking at her necklace?" I inquired, making my question more detailed.

He thought about it for a moment and scratched his chin, "well... When you're close to them. Your necklace grows warm but in a good way, you feel as if you never want to leave that warmth," he said a smile grew on his face.

I nodded and looked back down at my necklace, I perked up. Maybe it was just me but I could've sworn it had gotten warmer.

*~*~*

I let out a sigh of relief as we stopped, I got off and began to stretch. "Finally," I said as stretched my arms out, the ride had been longer than I anticipated and my legs had gotten restless after a bit.

I quickly ran to the back of the wagon to help Oji-san with the baskets of fruit, "let me help you," I offered as I grabbed the basket from his trembling arms. He offered me thanks and went along to empty out the rest.

"You sure you don't need more help?" I asked as I was about to go into the kitchens, he waved me off and told me to go ahead. I nodded and went into the kitchen to see chef's, maids, and butlers racing around to tend to everything.

I looked in amazement at how organized everything was, "wow..." I said as I set down one of the baskets. The hustle and bustle seemed to be an everyday thing as everyone smoothed around different obstacles with ease.

"It's quite the system, isn't it?"

I flinched and grew relieved to see it was just Oji-san, "yeah, how do they do all this?" I asked, everything here seemed to be perfect 24/7, I don't think I'd be able to handle all of this in one day.

"Well, they seemed to adapt to this. Anyway, why don't you look around before we leave?" He said as he went back to get the rest but before I could reply he had left. I only shrugged and made my way outside to get more fresh air.

As I walked I found myself near the gardens, my eyes shined at all the different flowers there. They were all so beautiful, I knelt down to one of them. "I don't suppose you know how my soul mate is?" I asked, chuckling to myself.

I leaned closer to it and breathed in the nice scent it was emitting, "such a beautiful garden, I wish I could stay here," I mumbled bitterly at the thought of having to go back soon.

I sighed and stood back, I grasped my necklace and my eyes widened to feel it slowly growing warm. I looked around frantically only to see no one around, "damn..." I mumbled once more as my hope dissipated.

"What are you doing here?"

I flinched and jumped as I heard a low voice coming from behind me, I turned to see a muscular man with red hair looking over me. "I-I'm sorry, I was just looking at the garden," I stuttered as he towered over me, I had to admit he looked handsome and I felt my cheeks grow warm.

He gave a small hum in reply, he didn't seem to be much of a talker. The air between grew a bit tense until I noticed something around his neck, my eyes widened to see it was the same as my necklace. My hands went up to my neck and felt my necklace, it was warm and it felt nice. Like I never wanted to leave.

He seemed to notice to as his eyes widened to see the necklace around my neck. I smiled and held out my hand, "my name is Y/N, what's your?" I asked sweetly.

"Masrur."
