Dear Darling,
What's that in the Refrigerator?

Did Dean recall, after the Day of
The Dead, to remove the Head from
The refrigerator and
Move it to the icebox?
Dad wouldn't like it
If he found Mom
While searching
For the
Eggs.
(A.N. The nonet is a very particular shaped poem with nine lines and syllables counting down per line with; 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 to form a triangle "shape poem" or "concrete poem." Concrete poems, I feel, are not represented well on Wattpad, because it is difficult to retain the shapes formatting, and that is sad since visually is a huge part of poetry. Overall content of this poem, "Dear Darling, What's that in the Refrigerator?" is taken from the imagism movement of the early 20th century that pictures things as they are with strong imagery that speaks more to pictures than wording. The intent of the poet is for the reader to retain a particular image in the mind of the reader, and usual these poems do not employ the poet's fancy literary tools. In this collection, "This is to Say...," I have created for the reader a theme centered on the subject of the refrigerator or refrigerator note poems: Here is list of early 20th Century imagism poets; William Carlos Williams, Ezra Pound, D.H. Lawrence, Amy Lowell, and others.)
