I stared down at the city of Vale from the transport ship headed towards Beacon academy, the city seemed so small and yet I could see people living out they're day to day lives. I had my shoulder rest on the archway of one of the windows while having my back against the other students that where newcomers or returning for another year. It was a while off until we arrived at Beacon so I went off into a little day dream... well that would have been the case if a pair of hands didn't jab at my sides, making me reel back into reality.

There was one person who would have the balls to do that to me and that person would be my big sister Elizabeth. "Welcome back to reality bro." She Smirked, folding her arms while staring at me with her garnet eyes. "That was very rude of you, disappearing without telling me."

I rubbed my sides."Since when did you become mother, I'm old enough to wonder around freely and not get lost, besides we're in a ship." I winced as my sister pinched my cheek.

"Just because you're eighteen doesn't mean you can give me sass." She sighs. "Next time just tell me that you're wondering off."

I gave my sister a nodas reassurance and I turned to look back at Vale, she then wrapped her arms around me in a hug, resting her head on my shoulder. "Thinking about dad?" She asked.

I nod. "Even though its been a few months now, its strange knowing that he's... gone." I look back on those days with dad, he raised us up all by himself,always had a smile on his face and had the great advice when needed.

I rubbed my head as I remembered how it happened, father and I where training in the forest, it was far enough from the house so it wouldn't disturb my sister while it was close enough that Grimm wouldn't appear there, or so we thought... we where surrounded by a horde of them, we fought what seemed like for hours, until I was the only one limping back with my weapon as support.

"Dad would be proud at us right now." Elizabeth tussled my hair. "His two kids going to Beacon to become hunters!" She looked at me with a smirk that went from ear to ear. "Now come on, Zoe and Lauren are waiting for us." She grabs my hand, drifting me away from the window.

Zoe and Lauren are my sisters friends and in some way my friends as well, we cut through small groups of students meeting and greeting one an other until we saw a pair of rabbit ears stand out from the heads of students, as we moved in further, using the rabbit ear beacon to guide though wefound Zoe and Lauren, they were sitting on a bench talking to one another.

Zoe is a shy and quietgirl, but don't let looks deceive you, as a rabbit Faunus, hell just a regular Faunus, they had everything thrown at them, from hate speech to direct confrontation, so a Faunus like her had to learn how to defend herself from a group of Faunus haters. Her rabbit ears, short and pointed at the top, match her shoulder length autumn coloured hair, her violet eyes shone as she saw us approach.

"I see you finally found Alex." Zoe let out a light chuckle.

"Where was he?"Lauren replied, her arms folded and wearing a smile that she always wears if I ever get in trouble, because she knows I would get an earful from my sister.

Lauren was the exact opposite to Zoe, she was outgoing and always an active person, if there wasn't something on she would plan something, her hair was an ashen blond with a hint of dark brown streaking across one of her bangs, her brown eyes hid nothing but an active mind.

"He was doing his usual day dreaming." My sister nudged me with her elbow. "So what has happened since I left?"

Lauren shrugged. "Nothing really, just waiting for you. However, Alex we have an issue with your weapon." She pointed to her side and what I saw was...something.
