1989:
"I can't believe that our baby is going to be born today. i'm finally gonna be a dad! i can't explain how excited i am. we got to the hospital about two hours ago but it feels like 2 years! i just want to meet our baby. Alyssa is going to be such a great mom." Corey thought as he held Alyssa's hand. She started pushing about 20 minutes ago. "Come on babe. you can do it." Corey said. "I-i'm trying.." She replied. after an hour of just pushing, the baby was almost ready to be born. Corey pushed Alyssa's hair out of her face as she pushed and pushed "She's almost here!" the nurse said. One last push and she was finally here. "Our girl.." Corey whispered as he wiped tears of joy away from his eyes. The nurse then came up and set the sweet little girl in Alyssa's arms. "She's perfect.." She whispered as she looked up at Corey. "What should we name her?" Corey asked. "Camilla.." Alyssa replied as she smiled down at her. "Camilla Jayne.." Corey said. Alyssa smiled. The baby was absolutely beautiful. a full head of light brown hair, blue eyes and the sweetest smile. "I'm so happy." Corey whispered as he kissed Alyssa on the forehead. "I love you so much, Corey." Alyssa replied. Corey smiled "I love you too. so, so much." 3 hours after Camilla's birth, Alyssa and Corey were lying together in the hospital bed. "So, i've been wanting to ask you something for a while. i've been waiting for the right time but i honestly can't think of a better time than now to ask you." Corey whispered as he looked deeply into her eyes. She smiled. "Okay. ask away." Alyssa said. Corey pulled out a small box from his pocket and opened it. it was a beautiful diamond ring. "Alyssa, you're the most amazing woman. i couldn't ask for a better partner or mother of my child. i love you more than every girl i've ever been with. Will you marry me?" "Of course!" Alyssa said as she hugged Corey. The ring was stunning and the perfect fit. "You're the love of my life." Corey said as he held her close. "And you're mine." She replied.
