Phillips POV:
I regretted saying yes to the invite when we got home. Mom was cooking dinner. "DINNERS ALMOST DONE!" Mom called. "ELIZA! COME HERE FOR A SECOND!" Dad called back to mom. She waited till we came. "Yes Alexander?" Mom said. "Phillip and I are gonna go to Burrs house for dinner. " dad said. "Ok! Get dressed boys. You won't look like that going there. Go get in your suits." Mom said. "And Alexander, can you come here?" Mom muttered to dad. I quickly got into my suit and dad called me down. "Mom's gonna come with." Dad said.
Theodosias POV:
I was excited about tonight! I kept asking mother and father when they were coming. They eventually just told me to stop and I obeyed. I read for a little bit until I heard a door knock. I ran to the door, my dress swaying. I tried to look threw the peephole but I couldn't reach it. Father eventually opened the door for me and Mr and Mrs. Hamilton came in. "Where's Phillip...?" I asked "he went out the other door." I scurried off to the other door and opened the door for him. "Thanks Theodosia!" He says to me. He looked extra cute in the suit. I really can be gullible sometimes. After dinner, me and Phillip went to my room. I showed him and he was impressed. "I come from a poor family so I never really experienced this...." he says zoned out in a little box. I heard him mutter something. He quickly stopped looking at it after muttering that.
