Chapter Three

Towards the end it turns a little fantasy-like. Just to add some variety in there :) Dont be mad as I'm giving it a little purpose.

"What about this?" Bandit held up a strapless white dress that had a sweetheart neckline and lots of layers on the skirt. It went down to the ground on the back, but to the knees in the front.

"Oooh! That's cute!" I grabbed it from her. I tried it on, but it was too big so we had to get a size down.

After that, all that was left was to do our hair and look at makeup. We had gone to multiple stores, including Forever 21, Victoria's Secret, and of course the almighty Hot Topic. Now we headed to Sephora, and after that a French hairdressing place I had never heard of and can't pronounce. We had multiple bags filled with clothes, underwear, bras, decorations, and even a brand new phone. I had told Bandit no, but she insisted and got me an iPhone 7 that was connected to the plan she shared with Ricky and Ashe.

I kept thanking her over and over until we got to the hair dressers. Bandit didn't want to change her hair, which I agreed with, but I went all out.

Bandit gasped when she saw how I looked. I had dyed my hair black, and there were white and red streaks all over.

"It's beautiful," She looked like she was about to cry.

"I love it. Thank you," The lady nodded and said I looked great, then ushered us to the register. I was deep in thought while Bandit paid. I changed my name to J.T. and my hair color both in a day. I recognized this as a new start for me, one that I hoped would have a happy ending.

"Ready to go? We need to get you ready for the ceremony."

"Ready."

By the time we got back, people were starting to set everything up. We rushed to my room and left my hair flowing down my back, but put on some of my new makeup. I didn't wear any shoes, instead just the dress.

"You ready?" Bandit asked after she had changed. She also wore a white dress since she was the Beta Female. It complimented her red hair and freckles, making her features look even more defined. Everyone else besides Ricky, Ashe, and her wore regular clothes.

"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess," I tried to give her a smile, but the butterflies in my stomach were quickly taking over. I don't know why I was so nervous. She seemed to know and put a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

She led me to the front door, where I saw a path lined with flowers. Every member of the pack was sitting in rows facing a podium where Ashe and Ricky were standing. Bandit walked beside me and all of it reminded me of a wedding.

When we reached the podium, Bandit stood behind Ricky and I stood behind Ashe next to the microphone on the podium.

"Blood Red pack, you are witnessing a new person and wolf join our circle. She will represent this pack well like we all do and treat everyone with respect. Now we will form the blood bond."

Ashe turned to me after saying that and took ahold of my hand. I had never witnessed an initiation, so I looked at Bandit. She mouthed for me to go along with it, and because I couldn't do anything else, I trusted her. Ashe took a knife and cut across my palm, then his. I didn't flinch at all and barely felt it.

He put our palms together so we mixed our blood. Then he said, "Do you swear you will protect this pack, the Blood Red pack, with your life? Will you put the good of the pack in front of your gain? And finally, will you accept this pack as yours and your true pack?"

"Yes."

He held up our hands and announced, "Welcome, J.T., to the Blood Red pack!" Everyone cheered and two people, a man and a women, ran up to the podium.
