Another Selection

Chapter 2

"NO!" My dad boomed so loud that James came running into the living room.

"Dad its the onky way!" I shot back.

"Shes right. Plus what's the chance of us being picked?!" Victoria said in a small voice.

Mom kind of sat there while dad looked at us with defeat.

"Please dad don't look at us like that. We just want what's best for the family. Think about James!" I said to him in a small voice.

He looked at me and nodded.

My sisters both grabbed a form and ran upstairs I followed them after giving dad a hug.

I looked at the form and started filling it out.

Name:Ariana Grande

Area:Carolina

Talent(s): can play any type of musical instrument(piano, violin, cello etc..) can sing.

The form was pretty stright forward. I was nervous.

"Guys. If we are entering the selection we have to make a promise." I looked up to see LuLu looking serious.
"If one of us do get picked. We have be happy no getting jealous." I nodded, shes right. We should let some silly old selection get the better of us.

"We will go take our pictures tommorow." Victoria announced.

"Im gonna go see Josh." I got uo and started walking out the door.

Josh. He was the guy who lived next door.

Josh was sitting in his backyard. I didn't even bother going through the front I just jumped the fence and headed towards him.

"Josh. I have something to tell you." I looked at him.

He got up looking around to see if anyone is there then pulled me unto the shed.

He started kissing me. It was a passionate but sweet kiss. But as much as I loved this I can't do this to him.  I broke the kiss.

"Josh. Im entering the selection." I blurted out. His smile disappeared and his eyes darkened.

"I thought you said you loved me?! Was it all a lie?" He pushed me away from him. How could he think that?

"No!" I let the tears fall. I turned around ready to leave but stoped. "If you think that then maybe I really wasn't in love." I looked at him to see hurt take over his face. I dont like to see him like that and I wiped my tears and ran back to my house.

LuLu stood there looking at me with sadness. I gave her a questioning look and she pulled to our room.

"Why?!" Was all she said.

"Why what?" I gave her an innocent look.

"Don't play stupid with me. Why were you kissing Josh?! You could get in so much trouble! And of you like him why are you entering the selection? I will let you know that Prince Justin wants to find love and its not funny to play with peoples hearts." She whisper yelled at me.

"I DON'T LIKE HIM. I was mistaken about my feelings. Plus maybe entering the selection will help me find love too?" I said more to myself then her.

"Ari." She said with a sigh. She worries wau too much about me. I gave her a thin smile and went to bed.
Maybe I might find true love with Prince Justin. Just maybe.
