Another Selection

Chapter 3

"WAKE UP. WAKE UP!" I have heard these two words in my life way too many times.

"Ari." I heard LuLu complain. 

With a sigh I got up. We have to take pictures today. I brushed my teeth and hair. I decided on putting half of it uo and letting the rear down.  I didnt really have that mant cute shirts so I decided on a floral black top and some skinny jeans.

I wAlked out to see both Tori and LuLu ready. They looked so pretty I looked so plain beside them. 

We immediately left for pictures not even bothering to have Breakfast. As we waited in line Jade came behinde us and greeted us. Jade was Josh's sister. If she was here.....then he was here.

I smiled at her and my sister started small talk with her. I kind of blanked out when I decide to go to the bath room. I told my sisters and went looking for a bath room. I was pulled into a closet. I was ready to scream when I saw who it was. Josh.

"What do you want?" I asked him. My voice was blunt and my face was emotionless.  I turned around ready to leave.

"Please! Let me explain myself!" He looked at me. But I frowned.

"I don't want to hear it." I said. I really do love him. But if I get selected I can't  make him suffer. Plus he didn't believe our love in the first place.

I left and went back in line. We were about to go LuLu looked at me.

"We were about to go I was worried you won't make It on time!" I just smiled and started thinking.

I remmembered the time when Josh told me he liked me. And how we always met in the sheds. I had a huge smile on my face and the guy took the picture. I didnt even realise I was in the chair.

I immediately frowned. I NEED to stop thinking about Josh.

Victoria was giving me a auestioning look.

"What?" I looked at her.

"Why were you so smiling so big?" She sounded almost angry. Bit she covered it up saying, "well it dosn't matter you looked pretty."

Was it just me or.... no Victoria is my sister. She wouldn't be jealous. I brushed it off and made small talk with LuLu.

Everyone was watching the report when we got back home.

"Theres been a change of plan folks." Gravel spoke with a big smile.
"We are announcing the contestants tonight! And those ladies will be picked up tommorow in the after noon.

What?! Mom said that last year the girls had 3 days to stay with their family! I feel bad for the girl that get selected. I know for a fact I won't.

I looked at the clock, 1 PM the report won't happen till 8 PM.

This is gonna be a long day.....
