"Babe, where have you been?" Joe asked as soon as I stepped through the front door.
"I went to a few stores then went to the park for a jog" I said innocently.
"For nearly 6 hours?" He started raising his voice. Does he really not trust me on my own?
"I don't know why every time I come home after a few hours out, you wanna continuously yell at me!" I threw my bags down and ran to our room and sat on the bed. "I'm so tired of this!" I screamed as I shoved my face into the pillow.
"Y/N?" The floor creaked indicating he was at the door.
"Joe, I don't want to hear it. I'm leaving!" I mumble through the pillow. He sat down beside me and ran his hand across my back.
"Y/N please don't go! I wasn't trying to sound harsh, it's just you worry me when you stay out long" I moved the pillow and looked at him funnily.
"What do you mean worry you? I barely stay out long" I said quietly.
"I mean I-I don't want you to get hurt and..." A tear slipped down his cheek. "I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt and I didn't do anything about it. You were out longer than usual today and I thought something happened to you... I texted you MANY times, you never replied"
I wiped the tear off his cheek "awe joe" I hugged him, I felt bad for jumping on him like that. "I'm so sorry, my phone was off so I could concentrate on running and not being distracted by texts"
"It's alright. Just promise me you'll tell me when your going out for a few hours so I know where you are and that you're alright" I just nodded my head as he pressed a kiss to my temple.
After sitting on the bed for nearly 20 minutes, joe spoke up "how about we go down and enjoy the supper I made us?"
We walked back downstairs to find my favorite sitting at the table, Nando's 😍
Hey guys, how are we doing? Sorry to start this book out with a sad-ish imagine but I'll make most of the others "happy" 😂😂
Also I've never ate at Nando's but I've always wanted to try out that place. Sadly I live in the US, in which I don't even know if we have a Nando's here.
