RUNAWAY PRINCESS

CHAPTER 1

ALEXANDRA S POV :

" Your Highness , your father would like to have a word with you ."

I groaned not wanting to wake up . Im not a morning person . But it might be important for waking me up . 

" Your Highness !"

Fine . She s not going to leave until i wake up . I sat up on my king sized bed and rubbed my eyes groggily . 

"Good morning , Bertha ."

"Morning , Your Highness ."

" I told you to call me Alexandra . I have a name . "

"Im sorry , Your High ...... i mean Alexandra ."

I got out of my bed , put on a robe and my favourite blue bunny slippers and skipped to my fathers study . I knocked on the door just to be polite . 

"Come in ."

I opened the door and carefully locked it beehind me . I turned around to find my mother and father looking at me . My mother was concerned while i can see steam coming out of my father s ears . Boy , he s looking ready to burst any second . 

"Good morning , father ."

" Good morning , mother ."

My mother gestured for me to take a seat and i plopped down on the leather seat infront of my father . He was looking at me intently as to how to start telling me something . 

" I will come to the point directly . Alexandra , im dissappointed in you . "

I looked at him sheepishly as if i dont know what he s talking when i clearly know why . looking at me again he continued .

" This is the twentieth time you ran away . I warned you so many times not to go away like that . I dont know how you manage to escape those guards .And its not good for a princess to run away like that . Every time you run away you create a mess . Im not going to tolerate this kind of behaviour anymore . you are not supposed to leave the castle grounds anymore not without my permission . And you are going to marry Prince Edward as soon as you turn eighteen ."

What the hell ! Im not going to marry that dumbass . Noway , noway in freaking hell . A big fat no .

"Father , im sorry . This will never happen again ."

"Every time you say that it will never happen again and there s no changing anything you are marrying him ."

That s it . Im not going to sit around and get married to that stupid prince . I m going to runaway again. and im not coming back . 

"Whatever you say , father . "

With this i got up and scurried to my room . I looked around my room and started packing the things i need . Im leaving tonight and there s no stopping me .  I packed everything and hid the bag under my bed and went out to my favourite lake  . This is the last time i will be seeing this if im not going to come back . I spent as much time as possible lurking around the lake . Then i saw Henry my favourite guard going somewhere . He s the one who helps me skip the guards while i run everytime . I ran towards him and stopped him . He s the one who understood me so i tell him everything . He s  like my bestfriend , i mean secret bestfriend . 

"Hey , Henry ."

"Hey , Alexandra . Heard that you got in trouble . "

"Listen , im going to runaway again . This time im not coming back . I want to enjoy life like other normal teenage girls . So , i will be going somewhere to join in a school and well i will complete highschool and then i will think about coming back . And i dont want to marry some douchebag my father suggests , i want to fall in love . "

"Ok . i understand . Now where will you go ?"

"I dont know .Did nt plan anything ."

"Well , if you dont mind you can go to my family . I mean well they stay in america and i have a sister there she can help you with eveything . And my mom she always works so you will be alone with my sister . "

"Sounds good . "

Then i took the address from him and went to my room . I need money . So , i went to the treasure room where my father keeps most of the money . I opened the locker and stuffed my duffle bag full of money and left . That night like always Henry helpad me and i ran like always .
