CHAPTER 7 :

ALEXANDRA S POV :

 I went downstairs and found Andrew in the kitchen . 

"Good morning ."

"Morning ."

He got me some breakfast and sat beside me .

"So, i didnt find you after the party . Did you come home without telling us ?"

"No , um . . . . .Stacy dropped me here later that night ."

"Oh , ok . Im sorry for leaving you . I just got really drunk . "

"Its ok ."

Drew is nowhere to be seen . We got up and got in his car and reached the school . He went to greet his friends and i got out and just stood there . Im not able to step inside . I just stood there thinking . What if Will is already here ? What if . . . . .

You are a princess . You dont back away . You face everything . You can do it . I chanted to myself and started towards my locker . I went on with my everyday classes . I saw Will in my second class but i avoided him by sitting next to Alexis . He looked sad but i tried to ignore him . I didnt even talk to Alexis or anyone . Even at lunch i stayed silent . Everyone thought that some thing is wrong but they didnt bug me . After lunch when i went to take my books from my locker i saw Will standing near my locker waiting for me . I took a deep breath and walked there . I took my books and tried to walk past him but he grabbed my hand . 

"Why are you avoiding me ?"

"Im not ."

I answered a little too loudly . He just laughed . 

"Yes , you are ."

"No , im not ."

"Yes . You didnt sit beside me and you avoided me at lunch and now you are walking away ."

"Fine . You know something happened last night , right ?"

"You dont remember ?"

"No ."

"I would have told you what happened if you talk to me . But you ignored me . "

"Im sorry ."

"Nothing happened .You dont have anything to worry about ."

"Really ?"

"Yes .You passed out . I carried you to my room . My sister changed your clothes and i slept on the couch ."

I hugged him tight .

"Why ?"

He inquired .

"What ?"

"Why were you scared and what if something did happen ?"

"I just dont want things to be awkward between us . And i dont want you to think of me as Brittany . I mean i dont mnd dating you or anything but i dont want to lose you as my bestfriend ."

He smiled at me and hugged me and i hugged him back . 

"So, my mom saw you the other day , remember ?"

"Yes ."

"Now that you are my bestfriend she want to meet you and invited you to dinner tonight at our house ."

"But , Will . . . .. it will awkward after what happened when i got drunk ."

"Its ok . My mom dont know about that ."

"Ok , i will be there around 7 ."

After school , i hitched a ride from Stacy and got ready to go to Will s house . Exactly by 7 , i reached his house and rang the door bell . Will s mom opened the door , smiled on seeing me and hugged me . 

"Im glad you could make it ."

I smiled at her and walked inside  . 

"Will s in his room upstairs . "

I went upstairs and into his room . I didnt get a chance the other day as i was scared and wanted to leave as fast as i can . Now , i looked around the room and its really  nice . Everything is in black and the room is really neat compared to my room where clothes are everywhere and books are scattered all around . There are some pictures of Will near his desk . He was the quarterback of the football . But its not our school team some other team and e is grinning widely at the camera . Looks like he really loves football . As far as i know he joined our school six months back and he switched schools and he is a good kid and a nerd , thats what people talk about him . 

He ran into his room and closed the door behind him and i heard banging on the door . His older sister . 

"I will kill you ."

"You cant ."

He shouted back . He didnt notice me yet .

"I ruined my shoes because of you . You broke the heel on purpose so that i will fall . I will kill you ."

"Good luck with that ."

He turned around and found me staring at him . His sister barged in at that moment and smacked himon the head then saw me and smiled at me .

"Hi . You must be Alex . Im Lucy , Will s sister ."

I shook her hand and we went downstairs when Will s mom called us for dinner . I sat beside Will . His dad is a nice man and he smiled at me . They all prayed before eating and then we all started eating . His mom and dad asked me about my family and some other  stuff . They praised me on the way i eat . Well , i learned it from my mother . I should eat properly as im a princess . After dinner , Will dropped me off at my house . 

"Good night . I really like your family and i enjoyed the dinner ."

"Good night , Alex ."

He left and i went in to find Drew and Andrew waiting for me inside . They bombarded me with questions and i answered them patiently with little details and then i went to sleep . Andrew reminded me that we are going somewhere tomorrow as its a sunday . Im freaking excited for tomorrow to come .
