CHAPTER 8 :

ALEXANDRA S POV :

 I woke up the next day and im super excited for Andrew s surprise . I went down and had breakfast and waited for Andrew and Drew . Andrew and Drew s friends were here . We played video games for a while and i beat everyone  . The guys pouted while the girls cheered me and made fun of the guys . We had some late lunch in the house and after  a while everyone got into cars and we left , where i dont know . 

"Where are we going ?"

"Wait . Have some patience ."

"Where are we going ?"

"Patience ."

"Where are  we going ?"

Its the tenth time im asking this and Andrew s getting annoyed . He stopped the car and turned around .

"We are here ."

"Where exactly ?"

I looked out and we were at an amusement park . I squealed and got out . Drew went and got us passes to go in and im super excited . I have never been to an amusement park before . 

"Do you mind if i invite Will ?"

I enquired Andrew .

"No , its alright ."

I called him and he answered on the third ring . 

"Hey , its me ."

"I know . My phone had something called a caller id ."

"Right. "

"What is it ?"

"Well , we were at the amusement park which is outside the town . Would you like to come ?"

"He would love to come and spend time with you ."

His sister , Lucy answered . 

"um . . . .Will ?"

"Yes , i would like to come . And i will be there as soon as i can ."

"Well , if he dont get out of this house , i will kick him out . Sont worry , Alex ."

Lucy shouted . 

"Dont mind her . She had too much sugar today ."

"I didnt ."

Lucy shouted again .I laughed and replied .

"I will wait for you ."

"Ok."

Right to his word he is there . He is wearing a black shirt and  blue jeans and he looked really cute .

"Hey ."

"Hi ."

We met the others but everyone is going in different directions so i went with Will after promising the others that i will meet them at Drew s car in three hours . 

WILL S POV :

Alex s friends left after she promised them that she will meet them at Drew s car in three hours . We were walking alone passing different rides . She was looking around excited like a little kid on christmas . 

"Why are you so excited?"

"I have never been to an amusement park ."

"Really ?Not even once in your life?"

"Nope."

She grabbed my hand and dragged me around . 

"Its really nice . Oh my god , look at that . "

She dragged me to a big ferris wheel and we waited in the line . Finally we reached it and got on it . She squealed in excitement and started shouting all the while . She laughed and screamed like a little kid . After that we went on other rides and i bought cotton candy for her . She ate it and its surprising that she never ate cotton candy before . The way she laughs and the way she behaves , its just so . . .. . beautiful to watch . We met the others at Drew s car after three hours .

"Do you mind if i ride with Will ?"

Andrew looked at me and nodded .

"Thank you . Will meet you at home ."

She got in my car and we left . She sat there changing stations on the radio and when a song i dont know came she started singing along . I watched her like she was an angel . Some thing is wrong with me . 

"Come on , Will . Sing with me ."

"I dont know this song , Alex ."

"You dont know this song ?"

She cried out like that s the worst thing in the world .

"Its ok . You can learn later . Its a nice song ."

She started singing along again . I dropped her off at her house and reached home . My mom s waiting in the living room for me .

"Hey mom ."

"Will ."

"Yes ."

"Come here ."

I went and sat beside her on the couch . 

"Do you like Alex ?"

"Of course . She is my best friend ."

"You know what i mean Will ."

"Mom , no .I cant . Not after what i did ."

"Will , i like her a lot and you are different when she is around . "

"I agree with mom ."

Lucy said entering the living room . 

"Whatever ."

I muttered and went for a walk . I thought of everything since i met Alex . How did my life become like this ? Why did it happen to me ? Why am i such a stupid prick at that time ? Why did i do that ? Maybe things will change after all and my life will get better . Maybe i can be a better person . I walked back  home thinking of what mom told about Alex . Yes , mom s right . I act different when Alex is around . Maybe she is right . I do need a change .
