BTS had to get ready for the billboard awards. Manager Sejin actually just wanted take out for the group the entire day but Jin insisted on cooking and promised to not get hurt.
“Noona, you seem calm” Hoseok smiled as he helped her prepare the kimbap, “Are you not nervous at all?”
“I am Bangtan and ARMYs princess Jinnie so whatever the results are, I will have fun with my boys and blind the cameras with my beauty”
“Your confidence is a whole new level” Hoseok chuckled as he cut the vegetables for the kimbap.
Namjoon was the third one up and before he could touch anything, Jin took both of his hands and gently pulled him to the table, “This is your day, boss… please sit down and relax okay?”
The leader sat down and checked his emails and social media as usual but also kept a close eye on Seojin who joked around with Hoseok. She would shine on the magenta carpet in a few hours and she deserved this more than a hundred percent. She learned everything from scratch yet she wasn't one step behind on the others. He always tried to improve to not fall behind and she always encouraged him. Without Jin, he wouldn't have been able to keep up his job as a leader.
“Hobi dear, can you wake up sleeping beauty?” Jin requested as she carried the dishes to the table and took out the plates and cups from the shelves.
The main dancer looked horrified, “Joon, why don’t you go wake her up? I am helping Noona with breakfast”
“I will help Noona, don't worry and go wake her up now… hurry” Namjoon hastily replied and wanted to take the chopsticks but dropped the pile with plates that luckily were plastic ones.
“I only ask that Yoonji gets woken up, how difficult is that?” Jin sighed and picked up the plates.
“Noona, ask us anything but THAT” Namjoon sighed, “You know I am not suicidal right?”
Jin rolled her eyes, “Hoseok, wake up the maknaes and then tell Jimin to wake up his mom”
He thought for a second and then nodded with a sunny smile, “Sure thing”
Hoseok smiled softly when he went to the maknaes their room. There was one twin sized bed and one sofa bed and they managed to push the sofa bed against the other bed and all three were cuddled against each other peacefully.
He quickly snapped a picture and turned off the TV. They were watching Barbie for a reason unknown to him.
“Jiminnie, Tae, Jungkookie” he gently called, “Time to wake up”
Jimin was the first to wake up and gave him an adorably sleepy smile, “Morning, hyung! Did you sleep well?”
Hoseok nodded and ruffled his hair, “wake up your mother please… I am not suicidal to try to wake her up”
Once Jimin left to brush his teeth and wake up the sleeping monster a.k.a Min Yoonji genius savage, Hoseok climbed on the bed and hoisted Taehyung up, “wake up, buddy! Breakfast is ready”
This went with a sleepy look from the younger one and he fell asleep again.
Hoseok brought his mouth to the boy his ear, “Jiminnie and Jungkookie are playing overwatch without you!”
This did the trick and he jumped out of bed, just to realize he got tricked.
It took about an hour for everyone to be at the breakfast table and as usual the maknaes were arguing over games.
Yoonji looked at them and they were silenced at once, eating quietly.
“Tae, I know you like to make friends everywhere but I beg of you, not in the bathroom” Jin spoke gently, “It's not normal here so don’t even try”
“Noona, but you should not smile too much either or else the other noonas will get jealous and might get mean” Taehyung spoke earnestly, making Jin laugh amused at him.
“What if Noona finds an actor or singer she likes and decides to stay here?” Jungkook his small voice piped up, a frown etched onto his young face, “We can’t live without our Jinnie noona even if she acts annoying and childish sometimes”
“You are only worried about Jin noona” Jimin frowned, “You are hurting Yoonji noona her feelings...as for your question, Jinnie noona will never leave us. She says we give her a headache and we make a mess of the dorm but she loves us a lot and I just know she won’t like anyone there romantically...noona is not that easy”
“Thank you, Jiminnie” Jin smiled gently and got up to kneel by the maknae, “Why are you suddenly saying such things, Jungkookie? What makes you think I will leave the group?”
He lowered his gaze, “netizens say you will be 26 this year and many young women at that age already have a family or they get married off if they don’t have a boyfriend yet… some say you will end up being an old maid…”
“Jungkookie…” Jin stroked his cheek softly, “I promise you that I will never leave Bangtan and it’s not true that I don’t have a family. Just look at the seven of us, we were never just a group...we are a family, you are all my family and though we aren’t the typical or traditional family, we are still a family and we will stay that”
Namjoon watched them quietly and his heart swelled with love and pride, he had the privilege to lead the best family ever. Without Jin her gentle ways, there would be a lot more insecurity, without Yoonji her strict disciplinary, there would be chaos, without Hoseok, there wouldn’t be so much optimism, without Jimin, there wouldn’t be a listening ear in times of stress, without Taehyung, their ways of thinking would be less broad and without Jungkook his pranks, there wouldn’t be as much laughter and amusement.
“You won't call anyone else baby either?” The maknae pressed suspiciously, making everyone laugh out loud and Jin swore that he would always be her only baby and no one else.
Once he was reassured, he turned to Jimin with his trademark evil smirk, “Jiminnie hyung, I was only worried about Jin noona because the sunbaenims won’t even notice that Bangtan has two girls…”
Yoonji lightly hit him and he choked on his kimbap but she only glared at him, “I am still a girl in case you forgot! My assets may not spill out like from your precious noona, but I am a girl”
This caused Namjoon and hoseok to choke on their food and Jin hurriedly poured water for Namjoon while Yoonji gave Hoseok a firm pat on the back and a piece of lettuce flew out of his mouth, causing the maknaes to shout in disgust.
Namjoon rubbed his temples, there was never a normal day with his group but then again, what was considered normal anyways with an alpaca princess, a blazing cat, a wild horse, Chip&Dale and a rabbit…
He looked up when he felt Jin’s hand on his shoulder and he saw her smiling sweetly at him, “Joon-ah, everything will be fine today okay? I am here to help keep them in line”
He gave her one of his sweet dimpled smiles but quickly put on a straight face when Jungkook shouted a heart felt ew and complained that he didn't have to see his parents flirt in front of everyone.
