Jimin was tired. His eyes hurt from exhaustion. But when his phone buzzed to announce a new received message, he grabbed his phone and read it; cursing the brightness emanating from the screen as he did it.
Isabella: "Did you know that humans share about 50% DNA with bananas? #mindblown"
Jimin smiled.
"It's 6:37 in the morning. Why are you reading about bananas?" He replied.
Isabella: "I'm hungry. Don't you believe in breakfast?!"
He chuckled. "What is this break of the fast of which you speak of?"
Isabella: "I can show you the good things in life if you're up for it. Meet me at Paulo's in 20?"
Jimin stared at the text for a few seconds. Was she asking him to get breakfast with her? Could he even handle being around her for that long? He wasn't confident in his ability to do so. He can barely get through his tutoring sessions nowadays.
He bit his lip in concentration.
Maybe spending more time around her will help him get more comfortable. There's no reason why he couldn't be friends with her.
With that in mind he typed his response. "See you there."
