She was a unicorn, he thought. Her rainbow colored hair was eye catching. But she was rarer in other aspects, like her personality. Whenever he thought he had her figured out, she proved him wrong with a mischievous smile widening upon her rosy lips.

Lips that he yearned to kiss no matter how hard he tried to resist.

He was staring now, he could tell. He shifted his gaze before he was caught, busying himself with the paper in front of him. He kept waiting for his hand to start moving, for words to start appearing, but no such thing happened.
Instead he glanced at her again. She finally noticed his eyes on her and met his gaze.

"What?" Confusion clouded her face.

His own eyes widened at being caught. "Nothing," he muttered quickly, looking away and pretending to look at the time on his phone.
"It's late," he added. "I should get going".
