He sat there, waiting. With that sexy look on his face that Betty couldn't resist. She clambered off her bed in a rush displacing her pillows and comforter, but she didn't care. All she cared abut was what was about to happen now. With him.

All this time he never took his eyes off of her. It made her self conscious, mainly because she's prone to falling and making a fool out of herself. But it also made her safe and fuzzy knowing he was there watching out for her. She lifted the latch and he climbed inside. They both sat on her teal window seat in silence, they had everything to talk about but nothing to say. What felt like an agonising amount of time had passed when he finally spoke.

"Where do you thi.." She cut him off.Smashing her lips onto his. She couldn't stop herself. He was the one she wanted. They stopped and looked at each other. He gazed into her eyes. Then he pulled her in. Barley stopping for breaths. Arms moving up and down each others backs. This was it. What they had both been waiting for. The undeniable tension surrounding each other built up to this. They pulled away breathless. His mouth stretched into a grin and he let out a muffled laugh. She did too.

"so... ummm yeah," he whispered with a grin on his face.

"Yeah," she chuckled back. He placed his hand on her knee.

Then with no warning a quiet crash of some description sounded from the attic. No one was home, her parent and herself were not on speaking terms since what happened with Polly running away and all. Betty wasn't sure wether to bring it up at all since it was and old house and the floor boards creak with no explanation all the time. But from the look on Jugheads face she could tell he was concerned too. They stared at one another and without saying a word they could tell what one another were thinking.Thet passed a glance of agreement towards one another. Reluctantly she stepped up and slowly began to walk towards the door. She felt her hand being gripped, holding her back . His hand was callice and warm , it made her insides tingle. He stood up and followed her , his hand still firm around hers.

The hallway outside of Betty bedroom was dark. The sky light at the end of the corridor, allough beautful during the day, created vast shadows along the pale wall. Forcing her heart to skip a beat , for all the wrong reason. Her steps slowed to a halt when another crash could be heared from right above them. Sensing her discomfort he placed his free hand on her shoulder, hid right hand still griped on hers. She looked back at him, they shared ...a "moment".Until a few seconds later when they heard another bang.Putting her worries aside, she forged onwards and the hand placed upon her shoulder dropped even though she wanted it to stay there, it made her feel safe. She stepped one foot at a time down the hall, hearing his footsteps behind her. She concentrated on her breathing as they reached the door of the attic. The bangs got louder as they pulled down the ladder.

Silence. All was calm and quiet as they started up the stairs. Neither one of them knew what to expect but either way it was about to be revealed ...
