Noah:
"Noah, come back to bed" Stacy pouted. She was sitting on the opposite edge in her bra and panties.
"Not right now." I responded putting on my clothes. "We have to go to school"
"It's five, who gets ready for school at five" Stacey says. Spencer. I wanted to say but that will give her questions to why I've been distant an answer. So I stayed quiet. What do you want from me?
"You know what, I'm leaving" She says obviously annoyed about my nonexistent response. "Call me when you can think straight" After pulling on her clothes she left.
It started two days ago. Spencer was walking down the hall. I saw her long before she saw me. with the most terrified look on her face. She walked straight into me. IWhen I followed her to see what was up, she disappeared into the restroom.
The door at the end of the hall slammed shut. My thoughts shifted back to Spencer with ease. Something was happening with her.
As always, I got home before her. She lied again to my parents. The routine she kept up with. As long as she didn't throw me under the bus about school, Stacey, or any other girls, we were fine.
I liked listening to her struggle. It was cute. This time though. Something about this time made me want her to tell us the truth. Why can't you talk to me? You talked to him like you were doing it since birth! Why isn't it me? Why isn't it ever me?
The night later, I could hear her screams. She was crying out. I wanted so badly to reach out for her. I needed. I couldn't help it. I walked slowly into her room. The windows are open. The way they'd always been since the moment she came. I held her while she cried. Watched her till she fell asleep.
As soon as I heard the door slam to Stacy officially leaving. I ran out to catch up with Spencer. I wanted to talk. The walk to school was straight down the road. I spotted her towards the end.
"Spence!" I called out. Could she not hear me? "Spencer!" She didn't even turn. She must have had her headphones in. I heard a car. I was in instant freakout mode. She didn't know anybody that could drive her. Nobody talked to her but even then, nobody drove down the road.
The car stopped. I couldn't see the driver. The door opened and they sped off.
___________________________Every unhappy story has to have a villain, but I am not it. It started when she moved next door, into the closest house to us. She was five and I was seven the first time I saw her face. Her family were new to the area, coming from a city to a suburb. Since our house was the biggest one in the area, she lived far, but near and close enough to consider next door.
My brilliant mother decided to welcome the new neighbors, small town style. We helped them move, brought them pie, and have them thrown into the welcome gossip.
I was in her hallway near the kitchen, looking up at the window. She came up to me two curly pigtails and all, smiling. She was the most beautiful creation I've ever seen.
"Hi, I'm Spencer." The angel said.
"You have no teeth" I stated. She needed to getaway from me. Fast. She laughed, and poked me. Never saying a word. For some reason that irked me.
"Go away or I'll tell my mom" She then hugged me. I turned to grab the window sill. She told me to stop and hug her back. I turned just so I could look at her like she was crazy. She let go and stepped back.
