I'm so sorry I haven't posted recently. School and homework doesn't give me much time.

The kiss was everything unexpected. The spark, the light that was there. The way their lips fit together like two puzzle pieces coming together. Those small butterflies in the pit of his stomach that just erupted like an atomic bomb and his knees went a little weak. He pulled away, but pressed their foreheads together. "You make me feel like a king." Louis whispered. "I do?" Marcel asked curiously. "Yes," Louis said, "you're so nice and funny. And you are such a gentleman." Louis added. "Makes me feel... like a jerk." Louis said softly. Marcel gave him a reassuring smile. "I know you asking me to prom was a joke." Marcel said quietly. Louis' head snapped up as he looked up at him surprised. "But... how... then why... I..." Louis stammered. "Then why'd you say yes if you knew?" Louis asked. "I don't know." Marcel shrugged. "I mean it's not as if I had people breaking down doors to go with me. And plus it's senior prom, I wanted to go, even if it were a joke." He said. "But I think we both surprised ourselves," Marcel added with a smile. "I-I'm sorry. Really. I-" Louis couldn't find the right words. A small tear slipped down his cheek. "Why are you crying?" Marcel asked. He reached up and brushed the tear away with his thumb. "Because I feel like such an ignorant asshole," Louis said coding. "Don't be. You aren't," Marcel said smiling. "Yes I am. I always just kind of ignored you at school and made fun of you. Then I make a joke by asking you to prom and you just look do nice and you are nice and funny and you are really sweet and you don't deserve any of the the tormenting you get at school." Louis' speech was a mile a minute. "Thanks," Marcel said kindly. "Can you forgive me?" Louis asked. "I already have," he said smiling. "When?" Louis asked raising an eyebrow. "When you kissed me." He said simply. Louis smiled shyly at the ground. "Just kidding. I never had to forgive you because in order for me to have to do that I would have to be mad or maybe apprehensive. But I'm not, an if I were then I wouldn't of said yes," he added humbly. Louis laughed. "Okay, so I'll just take that as a yes," Louis said smiling. The next few moments were quiet. They danced slowly and Louis rested his chin over Marcel's shoulder comfortably. "Tell me something interesting," Louis said quietly. "Like what?" Marcel asked. "Something interestingly funny. Anything," he said said with a small smile. "Hmm," Marcel hummed, "Japan has giant hornets whose venom is potent enough to melt human flesh." "Oh um, nice," Louis said chuckling. "And due to extreme pressure and temperature, it could literally rain diamond on Neptune and Uranus," Marcel said. "It would be cool to rain diamonds," Louis remarked. "Wouldn't it? And did you know that there are underwater rivers that flow along the bottom of the ocean floor?" Marcel asked. "Well I do now," he said, "anything else interesting you know off the top of your head?" "Dark chocolate contains a chemical that our bodies concert into phenylethylamine. The same chemical secreted when we fall in love," Marcel said quietly. "You know that just off the top of your head?" Louis asked in disbelief. "No, I'm reading it it this book right now," Marcel laughed, "yes, call me a nerd, or a geek, or a geeky nerd or a nerdy geek, but I did randomly know that." "Not nerdy, just smart," Louis said smiling. "Would anyone else know that off the top of their head?" Marcel asked as Louis laughed, "it's nerdy." "It's interesting!" Louis exclaimed. "Learn something new everyday." "Yeah, yeah," Marcel said chuckling. An end drawing near. "I'm still convinced you're too tall," Louis said teasingly. "I'd say my height is just perfect compared to yours," Marcel said smirking. "Why?" Louis asked smirking back. "You'll see."
