The Truth Part 1 & The Kiss

~~~Ruby's P.O.V.~~~

(y/n) is so scared right now. She doesn't know what happened to Emily. I had to lie and say only Peter and Ned found out... everyone in the hospital found out that she's CatJay. I told everyone in the hospital (including Peter and Ned) ... about her past, why she became CatJay, and why she became a hero. I hope she doesn't find out that I lied to her... or else she won't forgive me.

~~~Your P.O.V.~~~

"Hey, Rb.", I said smiling at Ruby, and she smiled back. Ruby," Hey (n/n). How are you feeling?" " I mean... it still hurts. A lot, but I'll get through it.", I said smiling at her. Ruby," Hey... (n/n)?" "Yeah." Ruby," I'm going to store. Do you want---" *someone knocks on the door* Ruby," I'll get it, (n/n)." "Thanks, Rb." *Ruby opens the door and they were Peter and Ned* Peter," hey, (y/n)." He said smiling. Ned," How are you doing, (y/n)." "Hey, Peter. Hey, Ned. What are you guys doing here??? And I'm doing great, still in pain though." Peter," That's good that you're doing great, and well... um.... We---." Ned," What Peter's trying to say is, that we came to check up on you, (y/n)." " And you wanted to find out if it was true that I'm CatJay... am I correct." *Peter sighs* Peter," Yes, you're correct." " Wait... how'd you know that we were going to ask that?" Ned asks confused... very confused. "I can read minds," I said nervously. "I can also do this," I said through a mind-link, that I just set up. Both Peter and Ned at the same time,"Whoa." Ruby walks in and asks Ned to leave me and Peter alone for a little bit. Ned doesn't say anything, but before he left the room he says one thing. "Get better soon, (n/n)." Ned said with concern in his voice. "I'll try, Ned," I said with a hint of hope in my voice. Peter gets up and hugs me tightly a little too tight. *whimpers in pain* "Sorry, (n/n). I guess I don't know my own strength." Peter said with a mixture of truths and lies in his sentence. Though I feel him breathing down my neck, I notice that if I move just a little bit I'd end up kissing him... but what the hell what else is there to lose. So I kiss him---

~~~Peter's P.O.V.~~~

(Y/n) is kissing me. So I kiss her back. A few minutes later we break apart. I love (n/n), but I don't want to put her in harm's way especially since she almost died from that fight with Emily. I want to protect her so this won't happen again. I just don't want to see (y/n) heartbroken. I don't know what to do to keep (n/n) safe and out of harms way from now on, but she's so stubborn. That and she's a dare-devil, she loves a challenge.

Sorry that I haven't been updating the story. I have been really busy, but I'm extremely tired right now so. Peace.
