Dan's POV
There's nothing interesting in Manchester, well you might think so but living here 4-5 years does give you time to see literally everything and so it's like a ghost town now. So I fill my time with thinking about my existence and filming depressing videos for YouTube that no one seems to watch.
If you don't know my name is dan, (Daniel Howell) I live in a boring flat in a boring town and I'm pretty sure my landlord hates me ( I mean I understand why i have basically destroyed this place and my job sounds like I am an undiscovered porn star) I'm taking law at uni however am completely regretting it (I mean imagine me as a lawyer!)
Phil's POV
I am finally moving into my own place, my parents have been smothering me since I was born, and I seriously need an escape, I've bought a small flat in the middle of Manchester, the town seems pretty boring but when you don't have many friends to move away with you, a cheap place is a safe bet.
(Time skip)
We finally arrive and I immediately feel like this was a good decision, my parents got out of the car (they are so over protective that they wouldn't even let me drive here on my own?!!)
Phil's Mum: "oh it's lovely darling, let us help you unpack and then we will leave"
Grudgingly I sighed and opened the van and started to unpack (seriously I'm an adult! I can unpack by myself *facepalms*)
Phil's dad: " oh you know what this would be a good opportunity for you to meet the neighbours! I will go and ask next door to help us unpack!"
"Dad no...." but by that time he was already knocking on the door
Dan's POV
I heard knocking from my door so I went down to open it, "hello?" I opened the door and saw a complete stranger with an abnormally large smile
Phil's dad: "hello, my son is moving in next door and I was going to ask if you wouldn't mind helping us unpack"
Usually I would of said no, after all I hate social situations but I caught a glimpse of the obviously embarrassed new neighbour (who looked really similar surprisingly) and instantly said yes, I really don't know why I mean, I'm socially awkward and this would probably cause even more awkward tension between us but when I caught a glimpse of his jet black hair and beautiful blue eyes I just couldn't say no to someone that beautiful
