She smiled sadly into the sunrise, trying to ignore the lonely longing aching in her chest. She'd never been one to sit around and feel sorry for herself but she couldn't get this boy out of her head; it was driving her crazy. And it was completely unjustified, she knew she'd never see him again, he never wanted to meet her. Oh the irony of it all, she'd finally found someone she was interested in, someone her mother would approve of, well at least status wise. She didn't want a prince, but since she'd met him she'd been constantly reminded of how lonely she was, being a princess really did put a damper on your social life. She had no friends, unless you counted to other higher class snobby teenagers her mother constantly invited over, which she didn't. All the things she used to love-watching the sunrise, listening to the birds, reading in a meadow-reminded her of her lack of companionship. She felt empty. Leaning forward, she reached for her phone, then drew back and laughed humourlessly. She didn't have his number. They weren't friends.
