Chapter 12

I remember our Christmas Party.

We celebrated it before our Christmas Break.

One of our classmates picked my name so I had to go and get my present. Then after that, I went to get my gift for you.

The class was in commotion when I gave you the gift. I was blushing. My hands were trembling.

Even though you didn't say thanks and just walked back to your seat after getting your present, I was still genuinely happy to give you something from the bottom of my heart.

I then glanced at you to see your reaction. I guess let's say that it had been a habit of mine.

Do I sound creepy?

I hope not.

All of us had a lot of fun from that event. It was simple yet memorable. Even though we don't communicate personally, I'm still glad that you were having fun with your friends.

The day ended and all of us parted our ways.

I think it was 7pm when I got home when my phone dinged, signalling a new message.

I opened it and my lips curved upwards.

It was you.

"Thank you for the gift. (:" you said.

5 words from you, yet I was ecstatic.
