The silver gray Mercedes S600 cruised down the freeway, travelling south.
Taehyung sat in the backseat with so much soft leather around him that he could barely hear the 389 horsepower, 6-liter engine. At eighty miles per hour the engine was only idling.
He gazed straight ahead, only half-aware of a world outside the claustrophobic comfort of the car.
The chauffeurs' hands stroking the wheel, the almost soundless changing of the gears, the pattern of traffic lights seemed meaningless to him.
His mind was muddled.
"I like you.".
The words kept replaying at the back of his mind like a broken recorder.
It wasn't the first confession he had received from a girl before; in fact he had received so many previously that he lost count.
Those girls, even those who were older than him, would leave love letters in his locker, wait for him after school or even tail him around during recess.
Yet he had never been in any relationship with any of them. He found them way too creepy, and he wasn't committed to have a girlfriend.
Especially since the last and only relationship he ever had with the girl he actually fancied didn't work out.
Taehyung rests his head back into his seat, slowly exhaling. He rakes his long slender fingers through his ruffled brown hair.
His restless eyes drift back to the car windows, and realizes that they were almost reaching home.
The car swerved into the biggest house that sat at the end of the road and pulled up in front of the grand, white water fountain feature at the doorstep of the big house.
As the chauffeur helps him open the car door, once again, the scene replayed in his mind.

"I like you,"
"..."
"I-I've liked you since freshman year. You're amazing at basketball! I know it's crazy, but I do like you. A lot."
She inhales deeply after her rushed confession, crossing her fingers behind her back. A sincere smile emerges from her thin lips.
"... "
"Hey um... look, i'm sorry, but I don't know who you are."
In fact, he didn't even know her name.
She wasn't from his class, and he had certainly not seen her around school before.
Taehyung knew the words hit her hard, because as soon as he said that, he noticed her eyes glistening- with tears.
Feeling no guilt at all, he had simply left her standing alone in the corridor.
He took his leave, heading towards the school's foyer downstairs after saying the simple sentence that broke the girl's heart.

She turned the door knob of her room open and threw her schoolbag on the floor.
Shutting the door behind her, she collapsed into her warm and snug bed which was in the middle of her room.
Her vision became blurry as she felt hot tears trickling down her now crimson cheeks.
She had been holding it in for too long. She eased herself, sobbing uncontrollably but softly into her silk pillow.
He doesn't feel the same way.
He doesn't even know me.
He's such a stuck-up bastard!
"Oh, he doesn't feel anything, because he's a boy." She concludes, suddenly lifting her head up from her pillow, which was damp from her tears.
"I'll make him pay," she says, a smug smirk making its way across her thin pink lips.

She yanks her white wooden drawer of her dresser open, grabbing the thick red candle inside.
Rubbing some herbs in her palms, she lays the candle down in front her dresser's mirror and lights it up with a matchstick.
She proceeds to switch off lights of her room and draw the thick, long curtains. Her room was now engulfed in complete darkness, except for the faint glow emitting from the candle's flame.
She settles into the soft leather seat of her dresser and faces the mirror before beginning to chant, smirking.
"Take his life, make it anew. Make me a girl with long hair."
"Make him a girl inside and Out. Give him a voice like a baby bird singing."
"Make him a girl, For his life shall become new! So mote it be."
She laughs, insanely happy at the thought of getting her revenge.
"Kim Taehyung." She says, before blowing out the candle.
