Billionare's Lost love

Chapter 1

The most requisite lavish wedding is being held to a young and handsome bussiness man who is a billionare. And here,janette is standing and staring at the wonderful decorations that is being beautifully decorated around the house. Lisa, her best friend had invited her, to her wedding, who is going to tie the knot with a successful billionare. When janette inquired lisa about how they meet, lisa laughed and said"At a birthday party two months back".
Janette always envied her best friend who was older to her because lisa was in her mid-twenty, so beautiful and wild , while herself was just an innocent teenager. Inspite of their age-gap between them they were best friends since they met.
Janette saw her reflection at the far end of the decorated glazed wall. Her simple dress, look out of place compared to her surrouding with rich people wearing elegant and beautiful highly-fashioned dresses.
For a moment, she wished she did not come but it was too late. She was startled, when a heavy hand was laid on her shoulder. She looked up and saw the most handsome man she had ever met.
She asked, " Am i too late to return back home".
"I think you are", and added" why? Don't you want to join this wedding ceremony? Lisa will be too glad to meet such a lovely innocent girl". He continued, "lisa is a stylish woman but as you'll come to know she's different". And laughed aloud.
"I.....I", janette stammered.
"Hey, jane dear". Lisa emerged from the crowd.
" so, you have met. Anyway let me introduce. Jane, this is Nicholas Fernandez and nick, this is my best friend janette Morello".
"You've got yourself an Innocent friend but you.... Oouch!!!.
Lisa puched him and said" don't ever say I'm stylish".

The ceremony was short but those who were present, departed late mid-night. Janette was the last. The newly wed couple dropped her till her gate. They were all exhausted in their drunkard-state except janette who forbid drinking. She bade them goodnight and When she was about to turn around to go into her house; Without warning, nick pulled her by her arms and hugged her. He kissed her on her cheeks and lastly on her forehead and said, "please visit us sometime". With that, he went to his car and drove away to their new home. She stared until the car disappeared from her sight.

Once she was inside her room, she cried, " why it should be me".

Janette was awaken by her phone ringing. It was an unknown number as she pick up to answer. She almost fainted when she heard the familiar voice.
"Good morning", she took a deep breath and wished him back.
" Jane, are you okay? "He said in a concerned voice.
" yeah, I'm fine"
"Good, what do you usually do during sundays? ".
"Nothing particular. Helping mum in the kitchen". She paused.
" was..... Was lisa okay? " she tried to sound normal.
"She's still dozing. I think she drank above her limit".
Silence dropped.

" Jane? "
"Yes"
"Are you angry with me? "
"Not at all".

Silence dropped again.

" Jane? "
"Yes"
"I like you very much"
"I know"
"Then as a favour, would you please come to my place for lunch? "
"I don't know,I..... "
"Please"
"Okay, by 11, I'll be there".
" Thank you"
"You are most welcome"

Janette wore a white sleeveless dress with beautiful small beated baby-pink flower on it . She didn't wear it on purpose to impress nicholas but it seem impressive when she checked her reflection.

"You're lovelier than i remembered". He was so close that janette became aware of it.
Abruptly she asked, " where is lisa?".
"She's alright. Come i have prepared us a lunch" Nicholas said and led her gently to the dinning room. It was set for two only.
" why", janette mumbled with tears glistening her eyes.
"Baby, you don't need to be afraid. I'm not a beast". He made her sit beside him.
" you need a drink". Then he poured the juice and handed it to her. He waited until she finished.
"Now tell me all about yourself"
"There's nothing special".
" oh, come on, i want to know more about you". And added, "as a very close friend".
