Broken

(Adeline's pov) (not an edited chapter, sorry for grammar mistakes)

I smiled the biggest smile I've ever made.
They smiled and waved back, We continued listening to Nick.
"Ok Loren Grey and Adeline Hartsong will be singing a duet together, after both their meet and greets booths are closed. Ethan and Grayson will be doing a Q and A session on stage before you two girls go on and sing." Nick told us all.
Loren nodded her head and smiled over at me. I nodded and smiled back but I've never felt more terrified in my life. After Nick finished talking we all kind of walked off to practice and get things ready. I wanted to go talk to the twins but I had to practice.

I found out that the song I'm supposed to sing with Loren is Stone Cold by Demi Lovato. Me and Loren rehearsed back stage in a closed off room and went over what we were going to do up on stage. Oh god the stage...every time someone says that word I get more and more nervous. Singing in front of people makes me want to faint all over again. Thankfully Practice with Loren went well. We both talked a little and followed each other on Instagram, added each other on Snapchat.
Finally after a couple hours, we all took a break and went out to go get lunch before the convention opened up for fans. We all got inside the tour bus and I sat down on the couch by myself until i felt arms wrap around me. "Adeline! I missed you!" It was Grayson.
I giggled. "Hi Gray! Didn't think I'd see you here." I said smiling at him.
"I didn't think I'd see you here as well, by the way how are you, any better?" He asked me looking considered.
I tilted my head "what do you mean?" I asked him. "Well I mean last time we saw each other you kind of passed out..." he said looking down kid of laughing.
"Ohh that's right. Yeah I'm ok. Just A lot of stress you know." I said looking into his eyes. Looking into his eyes made me feel safe and calm for some reason. He nodded. The bus started driving off.
"Hey where's Ethan?" I asked Grayson. He pointed to him talking on the phone. He looked upset and frustrated. "He's been really stressed lately. Not sure why." Gray said shrugging. I looked up at him, he looked hurt. "I'm sorry to hear that Gray." I hugged him. He put his head on my shoulder.
"He's been completely ignoring me lately. And been really quiet. I don't know why he's been acting so...different lately.." Grayson told me, my heart ached for this boy. He loved his brother a lot, I could tell. He was hurting. He looked broken.
I watched their YouTube videos they loved each other. "Gray. He loves you. I know it. I'm always here for you." I said but instantly regretting it. He doesn't want me. No one likes me. I'm just a screw up. "Thank you Adeline." He said smiling at me. I smiled back. Maybe he does like me. Maybe I do have a friend. "Here, uhh. Put your phone number in?" He asked me nervously handing me his phone. I nodded typing it in quickly. He smiled like an idiot. "What is it?!" I asked laughing at him. He laughed a little.
"I'm just fan girling a little bit right now." He said laughing. I forgot he was a fan of me. I laughed with him. Everyone else was having their own conversations. I didn't mind, I loved talking with Grayson for the rest of the ride.
The bus stopped and we all got out for Noodles And Company. Grayson said he loves this restaurant. And everyone walked up to order...then it came to me. I couldn't eat. I don't want to eat. I'm broken.
"Adeline what do you want?" Loren asked. Everyone was looking at me. "Ohh-uhh-um I'm actually not hungry..." I said quietly looking down. "Oh Ok." Loren said. Nick payed and everyone sat down in seats. I sat by Ethan and Grayson, Nick, Nicki and Gabi. and No one seemed to notice I didn't eat. Thank god.
Ethan kept giving me weird looks though. I just brushed it off. "You want some of my salad?" Grayson asked me. I shook my head. "Seriously I'm not hungry. I had a huge breakfast." I said and smiled at him.
"More for me then." He laughed. I slightly giggled even though I was hurting inside. Nicki, Gabi and i had very little conversation. Gabi asked me where I got my purse and Nicki said she has the same shirt I'm wearing. I told Nicki I liked her necklace and told Gabi I binge watch her vlogs sometimes. Other then that it was pretty awkward. Ethan didn't say a word and Grayson kept trying to talk to Ethan. Ethan kept ignoring him. Grayson looked so hurt and broken And Nick talked to Nicki and Gabi for the most part and I just sat there and played with my necklace. I was broken and hurting.
Ethan got up and threw his food away and walked out of the restaurant without saying a word. Grayson looked at me with sadness and surprise. I put my hand on his back and rubbed it.
"Go talk to him for me?" Grayson asked me quietly, still looking down. I nodded and got up and walked out.
I saw Ethan inside the tour bus so I walked in.
"Hi Adeline." He said showing no emotion. He looked sad, like he hadn't slept for days.
He was sitting on the couch. "Hey E." I smiled and sat on the couch with him.
"How are you?, feeling better?" He asked me. I nodded. "Yeah much. Just stress you know." I told him.
He reminds me of Grayson, they are definitely twins. He nodded. "As long as you're well." He said and He smiled weakly.
"Now...How are you?" I asked him he looked down. "Ethan talk to me.." I said quietly.
he shook his head.
"I know we aren't very close and everything. But I know you well enough to know you're acting different...." I said softly putting my hand on his leg. He put his hand on top of mine and started rubbing my hand but said nothing.
"Ethan please... Grayson is hurting. He is broken. He loves you." He looked up at me.
We made eye contact, it felt like forever. I could get lost in his eyes. But his eyes showed hurt and he looked broken.
He started crying. I quickly pulled him into a hug and he cried on my shoulder.
"Ethan..." I said rubbing his back.
"Adeline...." he chocked out.
"Yes? I'm here." I said softly still rubbing his back. "Adeline....help me....please...." he cried.
Broken. We are all broken.

New chapter finally! Kind of a sad chapter though :/ sorry not sorry
