the caves never seemed so dull. standing next to them, you trump.
gritting rocks grinding as feet fall upon them.
the trees whisper secrets in the night.
paths lead to nowhere, anywhere, everywhere.
what would the moon think if we kissed?
the stars cast a glow upon your frame.
your shadow dances in the flickering infinity.
freckled constellations grip onto humanity.
your beauty leaves me dizzy.
i am a weak mess, you cause explosions inside my system.
how can anything so magnificent exist so close to me?
you are unfathomable.-you could destroy me and i'd thank you, for it means you touched me.

Poems From My Past
Poetrywrote this in 2017. I was going through a lot at 17. While my writing has changed immensely,to the point I cringe at this, it is the kind of cringe where you're smiling. if you happen to read this, 17 year old me says thank you.
