It's the next day, and Jane calls a taxi to the hospital to see her dad. she packs a few of her belongings. 1 day she had all she needed, 1 day she saw Sams beautiful smile, then the next it was gone. just like that, she finally sees the worth in people. Janes taxi came and she got in. "So, where to young lady?" said the driver. "Losleak hospital please." The driver started the car and went on their way. Janes worry consumed her and became too much, tears ran down her face. The pain was obvious in her eyes. "You good over there?" The driver said concerning "Yeah, my... My dads at the hospital and... I don't know if he's going to be okay." "I'm so sorry to hear that, my sisters in the same hospital." Jane looks at him with sympathy. When will the weak get their anthem... "is she okay" Jane said "if I'm honest, no. She's in a coma." Jane starts to worry about her dad. Then crys more. For the rest of the ride, they sat in silents. When they got to the hospital Jane reaches into her wallet to get the money she needed to pay the taxi driver. "Shit..." She didn't have enough money to pay him back "Hey, um it's on the house. You just go see your dad." "Oh my God! Thank you so much, sir!" Jane and the man smiled at each other, then the man left. Jane ran into the hospital having her mind set on seeing her dad. She got to the front desk and demanded to see her dad, almost yelling. They approve and she runs to her dad's room. She practically busts the door down. When she got in the room her dad's eyes widen and he smiles. "Jane..." "Dad?! What happened to you!" Her dad was in very bad condition He had so many broken bones. It was hard for Jane to look at him in so much pain. "I was jumped on my way to the gym. By the looks of their bandanas, I think it was the 'Taggar'." Jane never thought this kind of stuff would happen, not to her or her family at least. But ever sense her mom and brother went missing, She cant really predict anything anymore. "Oh my God dad... Wait, how long will you be in here?" "A few days, they don't know for sure." That made Jane even sadder. "So any luck with finding Sam?" Seeing her dad like this made her forget about the Sam situation, She doesn't want to think about both of the shitty things going on in her life. "Not too good, we haven't had any clues on where she is... And I'm really worried. Dad, I'm scared" Jane started to cry and sat down in their chair next to her dad's bed and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I know... She means a lot to you..." Jane sniffled "She does. I hope we find her soon, we planned on going to prom together." Jane gasped. She didn't mean to tell her dad about her and Sam being a thing. "Sooo, you two are dating?" Jane blushed and looked at her dad. "Yeah... I wanted to talk to you about it sooner, I just..." "Oh honey, I knew... It was obvious" Jane glared at him. "Oh... By the way, I got suspended." Janes dad instantly became angry. "Um... You got suspended. You better have a good reason, cause I might be in the hospital but I can still ground your ass!" Jane almost shit her pants "I'll tell you later, but I gotta go look for Sam, Love you bye!" Jane ran her happy ass outta there before Her dad could say anything. A few hours pass by and Jane went to get coffee. All was peaceful in the towns only coffee shop. Jane was the only one in there because it was about 10 and a Friday night, so most people were inside or out getting drunk. Jane was scrolling through Instagram while drinking her frapitchino then Kathy comes into the shop with about 5 other people. They were obviously drunk and had no idea of what they were doing. Kathy and her friends came up to Jane. "Heeeeey Jaaaane! Wassup! Nice coffee! Oh and nice tits!" Said Kathy. Jane rolled her eyes and didn't say anything. Kathy and her friends walked away to the other side of the coffee shop, but Jane was being nosy and listened to their conversations, then overheard them saying they were going to drive back to the club. Jane got up and said "Are you fucking stupid. You cant drive, your drunk." One of the friends pushed Jane and said "I can do whatever the hell I want!" And pulled out a pocket knife. Kathy and the rest of the friends laughed and walked out of the store. Jane followed them. As they all got out of the store Kathy's friends got in the car but as soon as Kathy tried to climb into the car Jane grabbed her wrist and pulled her out onto the sidewalk and her friends left without her. Kathy grinned at Jane and said "Heeey! What the hell was that for! We were gonna go back to da club!" Jane grinned and said "Yeah, that was the point..." Kathy stuck out her tongue and flipped Jane off. Jane rolled her eyes and dragged Kathy to her house. As they got to Janes house Jane said "You can crash on my couch, just let me go get you pillows and stuff." Jane went to go get The stuff and set it up on the couch "There, you're all set." Jane said. Kathy went up to Jane and wrapped her arms around her neck "Your cute you know?" Kathy said. Jane could smell the alcohol in her breath. "Kathy... No... I don't want this... You don't want this, you're drunk." "I do want this. Let me prove it" Kathy said seductively. Kathy got closer to Janes' lips and kissed her, Jane pushed her away as soon as their lips touched. "Kathy, please just go to bed." Jane walks to her room as soon as she said that. The next morning Jane went to go check up on Kathy. She had a huge hangover. "Hey Jane... What am I doing here.... Wait did we..." "No Kathy we did not have sex, you're in the clear." They smiled at each other. Jane went to go turn on the news for the weather. As soon as she turned the tv on she heard the news lady say "5 teens dead from drunk driving. Lat night at about 10:30 pm 5 teens were on their way to a club on 'northern street' the Teens are verified as Mich Live, Carly Hanes, Kian Qiun, Haley Larence, and Cheary.Harley" Jane turned pale and was speechless. "Oh my god! Jane!" Kathy broke down into tears and fell down onto the floor.
