   Never in your life nor in your wildest dreams would you imagine that Katsuki would show up on your doorstep with tears in his eyes.

At first when you opened your door to reveal the teary eyed male, you were shocked. Of all the people you would expect, none of them were him. But the shock subsided and was replaced with worry. Regardless if you and him bared teeth at each other on a daily basis, you still cared for him as a friend and maybe even more?

You invited him in and ran to get some tea, taking anything as a get away from him to help your mind process what was going on.

But now you sat with him on your couch, him staring at the teacup and you staring at him. Waiting and waiting for anything to show what was going on inside his mind. At some point you thought you were going to bore holes into his head, but his garnet colored orbs met yours finally. You felt your heart squeeze at the sight before you, his eyes were puffy, the trace of a tear on his cheek.

"Do you think i'm weak, (Y/N)?" his voice was hoarse, almost sounding nothing like him. You were surprised by the question. Of course you didn't think he was weak, he could kick your ass anytime he wanted. The question felt wrong leaving his lips, someone who was filled with such confidence was cracking.

"Of course I don't think you're weak Katsuki, where's this coming from?" You were careful how you worded your sentences and your tone of voice, fearing that something simple could make him explode.

You watched as his hands clenched into constricted fists, "Then why can't I beat that dumbass, how is he stronger than me? He was born fucking quirkless!" He was practically screaming at the end of his words.

This was all about Izuku? To be truthful, you were surprised at how much he grew in strength and you did question the science behind it but you had your own quirk, which made you content. But you knew Katuski, he had to be on top and especially if the one above him was Deku, you understood his frustrations.

Nonetheless you were still shocked that it upset him enough to bring him to tears. You awkwardly patted him on the shoulder, "Everyone has their strengths and weakness Kacchan, just because Deku is 'stronger' than you doesn't mean your we-"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER, I'M SUPPOSED TO BE NUMBER ONE!" He interjected your advice, yelling angrily at you or maybe himself? At this point you were flustered, nothing you were saying was giving him any kind of comfort. He was pacing around the room like a madman, his fingers gripping at his hair.

You wanted to slap him but you knew that would set you backwards, not forwards. You swallowed hard and suppressed your frustrations. Walking over to him, you placed your hands firm on his shoulders, forcing him to look you in eye.

"Stop with this self-pity bullshit, you know you're better than that," his eyes narrowed at your words, "Kacchan you are one of the strongest heroes I know, don't doubt yourself just because you're not number one in your eyes, you're number one in my eyes! How am I supposed to believe in myself when my support system is doubting themselves? I'm not that strong, but I believe in my quirk and I believe in the people around me, regardless if I'm at the bottom or top. I wish you'd see yourself how I see you." By the time you were done with your speech, your cheeks were ignited crimson. You let your emotions get the best of you and once the words starting to flow out, they wouldn't stop.

Katsuki just stared at you with his eyes widened. Not once did he think about how his friends or you viewed him, he only thought about himself. He took a step towards you, placing his hand on the back of your neck. He pulled your lips to his, a fiery hot feeling went coursing through your body. You didn't even have time to process what had happened before he pulled away, resting his forehead against yours.

"Thank you, idiot."
