My mouth gaped open as soon as I heard the words leave her lips.
"K-K-Kellin Q-Quinn..?" I stuttered.
"Yes, are you a fan?" She asked. I nodded my head ferociously.
She let a light laugh pass her lips as she said, "Well then, today has been your lucky day hasn't it?"
I sat back in my seat imagining the place we were headed, was it to be big and beautiful? Or grand and mysterious. I laughed silently at my thoughts and stuck in my earphones. Scrolling down my I-Pod I landed on Congratulations - Sleeping With Sirens feat. Matty Mullins, so I decided that was a good song for the moment. I put it on, smiling like a fool, thinking of how I was going to meet Kellin. Well, hopefully.
I put it on louder, connecting it to the car on full blast, as I head-banged to the chorus. Annie looking at me like I was a retard, but then again, who gives a shit?
I was on the road to getting away from my abusive uncle, I haven't has this much fun in years. So who cares if I'm head-banging or stripping naked? I certainly don't, I feel.. Free. Freedom is what I feel. Freedom is what I haven't felt in years, due to being locked in my room and not being allowed outside.
Annie had a moveable roof, so she slid it down with her car controls as I stood up in the seat. Laughing like a maniac, I looked down to see Annie still staring at me like I was insane. But, it was true. I was insane. Insane for never beating the hell out of that uncle of mine. I was disgusted I could even call him my uncle. Now on, thus shall be known as Mark. That guy that abused me.
I also forgot to introduce myself, totally slipped my mind.
Basically, my names Eclipse, I'm 18 years old and currently driving away with my neighbour, Annie to escape my abusive unc- that guy called Mark that used to abuse me.
I looked in the side-view mirror, seeing my blue hair dangle around my waist. My side fringe melting down into my face. I played with my lip ring, resting my head on the dashboard

I was woken with a screech of brakes. I jamp up in my seat, I hadn't realised I had dozed off. I saw Annie there, staring at the road, bags under her eyes as she sleepily drove along.
"Do you want me to drive for you?" I asked her
She nodded in agreement as she sharply pulled over and hopped out of her seat. I slid across to the drivers seat, adjusting it so I could reach the pedals. I wasn't exactly the tallest of people, but I wouldn't say I was short either. I had only driven a car about 20 times, but I was a natural.
I pulled out from the side of the road and I looked over to see Annie fast asleep already. I chuckled to myself as she slept.
We were driving along a straight road for a while as I heard a mumble from beside me.
"Hey, you're finally awake" I smiled
"Oh hey.." She yawned
"Do you think I could get some directions? We're heading off this straight road in a minute." I asked, hopefully.
"Yeah sure, at the next turn, take a left and we'll carry on from there" She replied. I nodded as we carried on our journey.
We pulled over, and Annie swapped with me when she was fully awake. She stopped at a gas station after a few minutes of driving. She looked at me and asked,
"Are you hungry?" I nodded in reply.
We walked in and looked around seeing what food we could get. I had brought my money from the hell house, but it was a mere $500.
I took it out of my pocket and looked around picking out a sandwich, coffee, 2 pink lemonades, some skittles and a packet of crisps. I saw Annie with abit less items, and we walked up to the counter. I placed my items on the counter as I heard the man behind the counter say.
"That'll be $12.99" He had a mono-tone voice, almost like a robot in a way.
I gave him the cash and waited in the car for Annie, to see her rushing out.She put all her stuff in the back and put her foot on the gas and speeded away. I looked out the window to see the scenery.
"How long till we're there?" I asked, still has my head out the window.
"About half an hour" Annie replied.
I sighed as I curled up into a ball, eating my crisps. I put my head on the window and closed my eyes.

I woke up to a hand shaking me, I groaned.
"W-what." I mumbled
"We're here." I heard Annie chirp.
I looked up from the car to see an average sized house but it was an old, antique house. Just like the ones I've always wanted. My mouth gaped open looking at the house, as I saw a boy appear at the door, running to Annie. They hugged and I looked closer I saw, the. Yes THE, Kellin Quinn. I started major fangirling inside my head, but stayed calm on the outside. I got out of the car, realising he was looking at me, smiling. I then looked down seeing all of my food crumbling in my hands. I probably looked so fat, well. Thats nothing new, everyone else seemed to think so.
"Hi." A voice snapped me from my thoughts.
I looked up meeting his gaze.
"You must be.. Eclipse?" He asked. Still smiling.
"Um- yeah. You must be Kellin." I stuttered nervously as I heard him laugh.
"Don't be nervous love, I know you just got away from your.. Uncle.. But it wont happen again." He assured me. My cheeks were probably tomatoes at the end of our chat.
"Thanks." I replied, still very nervous.
