Anna 8 years old
It was a cold winter day in the kingdom of Arendelle. Snow covered the castle courtyard and garden, the fjord was frozen by ice, and the everyone was all snuggled up in blankets.
In the castle, a small red head girl was sleeping peacefully in her bed, waiting for the sun to wake her. The sun shone down on her eyes through the big window in her room. She stirred in her sleep, until she opened her small teal coloured eyes.
She sat up in her bed and gave a big yawn. She looked to her window to see it snowing outside. She smiled, she got out of bed and got dressed into her green dress. She ran out into the hallway towards her sisters room. She stopped at the door.
"Elsa." She said to the door. "Elsa." She said again a little louder.
She knocked on the door. "Do you want to build a snowman?" She asked.
There was no response. "Please Elsa."
There was finally a response. "Go away Anna." Tears began to form in Anna's eyes, she looked down at the floor. "Ok, bye." She walked away from the door, leaving her sister to her room. Anna never got to see her sister anymore, one day she just left her. Anna still never knew why.
She was lonely, her dad, (the king) had closed the gates to Arendelle. She wasn't allowed to go play out in town with the other kids. She needed a friend, desperately.
Anna walked down the halls looking for her mom, maybe she would play with her. She found her in the entrance hall to the council room. "Mom, can you come and play with me?" Anna asked.
"Sorry honey, I have a meeting with your father and the council in a moment." Anna's mom said.
"Oh, ok." Anna walked away disappointed yet again.
She walked out into the garden and sat in the snow.
"Why don't you have a jacket on little miss?"
Anna turned her head to see a man standing in the snow, he had brown hair, wore a strange looking jacket, and wore a bowtie. She hadn't seen him before.
"Your one to talk." Anna said with no emotion on her face.
The man smiled. "Well in that case." He walked over to her taking off his jacket and motioned to put on her.
Anna stood up and backed away.
"It's ok." He said. "I'm a friend of your father."
Anna stopped backing away. He put the jacket around her. "Hey, why the long face?" He asked.
"I have no one to play with, everyone's either busy or doesn't want to play." Anna said on the verge of crying.
"I'll play with you." He said with a smile. "Come here." He said patting the snow beside him.
Anna sat down next to him. "Now what?" She asked.
The man smiled. "Anything you want."
