Baby wasn't going to found. She was hidden too well. She was in the breaker room. It was a good enough hiding spot. There were multiple dangling wires and tubes that could block you from view and the room was in complete darkness. Well, mostly. The blanket of shadow was occasionally disturbed by sparking wires but that didn't matter. Nobody would find her. Except maybe Freddy who took naps in here. Eh, she could get him to shut up if she had too. But other than that, this was perfect. And Ballora would never see her here. Especially with the girls difficulty making things out in even slight darkness. Hehehe yes. Nothing could go wrong.

"Hey guys, let's check down this hallway!"

"Great idea! There are plenty of places for short people hide down here!"

Well, nothing except that. She would recognize those voices anywhere. Fuck.

The Bidybabs scurried off down the hallway with Ballora by their side. Since the dancer couldn't find Baby, she went to the Bidybabs for help. They agreed. Well, they agreed after she bribed them with cash. Whatever. It would be worth it. The Bidybabs would definitely find her. They had the the uncanny ability to find the ringleader no matter where she was. They mostly used this to annoy her. But now it would be used to help Ballora. Boy did she suck at finding people.

And since she sucked very much so, she followed a couple of Babs checking the doors opposite of her gallery. One of them called out to her.

"Hey, I think I found her!"

Baby's heart stopped. She muttered a number of colorful phrases under her breath as two of the Bidybabs opened the door and totally gave away her position. The little fucks. She watched them scurry away as Ballora entered the doorway. She was so very fucked right now.

"Ah there you are, I've been looking for you. What are you doing in here?" The dancer asked rather awkwardly. Not that Baby picked up on it. She was too busy drowning in a pool of her own anxiety.

"Oh, you know, just enjoying the scenery." She gestured towards the rusty tubes and sparking wires hanging from the cleaning.

"Okkkkkay... hey, um.. could I maybe.. talk to you for a second?"

Since the ballerina was blocking the ringleader's only escape route, her answer was yes. Ballora sent a nervous smile and walked over to Baby, who had stood up from her spot on the floor by this point.

"Sooo... what did you want to talk about?" She questioned as if she didn't already know the answer.

Ballora decided to just go full force on her answer before she could think about it too much. "I wanted to to tell you....that I..." damn, as if she hadn't paused like forty times already. Why was this so hard for her to say? "I uhh..." C'MON BALLORA SPIT IT OUT ALREADY DAMN SHIT.

She cleared her throat. "Sorry, this is really difficult for me to say."

"Hey, it's fine. Take your time."

"Okay. So I...I...I..." GOOD GOD WOMAN IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD. She mentally scolded herself for sounding so fucking awkward. She was going to tell her right now. No more thinking of the negatives.

"I REALLY LIKE YOU! LIKE MORE THAN A FRIEND. YOUR BROTHER TOLD ME THAT YOU LIKE ME. I DON'T KNOW IF HE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH, BUT I'M TELLING YOU ANYWAYS BECAUSE I'VE BEEN KEEPING IT SECRET FOR A LONG TIME. I AM SUPER GAY FOR YOU. I'VE BEEN GAY FOR YOU SINCE I MET YOU, AND IT GOT WORSE AS WE GOT CLOSER. I LIKE THE WAY YOU GET FLUSTERED AT EVERY COMPLIMENT, I LIKE YOUR VIOLENT AND CORNY SENSE OF HUMOR, I LIKE HOW SHORT TEMPERED AND SARCASTIC YOU ARE, I LIKE THE WAY YOU LAUGH, AND I THINK YOU'RE ADORABLE." Ballora clamped her hands over her mouth before she could say anything else. She didn't mean to blurt all of that out. She was supposed to say that she liked her, not everything she liked about her. Sheesh.

Baby's face was about as red as her hair by this point. She knitted her eyebrows together and stared at Ballora for a full minute before actually responding.

"Oh wow. Are you actually being serious?"

"I've never been more serious about anything in my life!" Ballora's mind was on autopilot now. Her mouth was basically running itself. "If I wasn't serious would I do this?!" Ballora then proceeded to do something she never thought she would attempt.

She kissed her.
